The noise!! The music blasts all day for no reason. Also very difficult to know who’s there for the restaurant or the hostel so hard to make friends. Also not many social areas to connect with people.

Location is great, very central to the city so convenient to get to. Shared bathrooms at the back are very clean and always available.

The bedrooms were cramped. The bedroom got way too hot at night and people turned on really noisy fans which kept me awake. I wasn't offered a locker. When I queried the locker was way too small for my bag. Another person was allocated my bed and when I got back to the room they were in it. The included breakfast was great however overall the food on offer was not great value.

The common areas are large. The place looks great. There is lots of entertainment and music on offer.

The top bunkbeds are pretty high up with unstable stairs and the guests are not very diverse. Getting your change from the bar can be a hassle.

Too much noise #1 It's nice to offer DJs and concerts a place to perform but keep it down please. Too much noise #2 All dorms are surrounding the patio. Which means when guests are leaving early or when employees are starting early, talking loud, you won't get much sleep. It would be good from the staff to remind everyone to keep quiet before 8. Lack of reactivity to my email about transport from the airport. And when I got it (I already arrived) it was only to be offered 50$ transport. FYI there is 16$ shared taxi transport from Guatemala City airport.

Stylish patio and rooftop. Plenty of room to be lazy and relax. Nice cocktails and drinks offers. Bunk beds are comfortable and private.

Adra Hostel operates more so like a restaurant with beds. There is no kitchen for guest use and they don’t organize activities. Social areas are a little awkward bc many people visit for dinner and the views. Morning yoga is $5 USD. Adra, the fake bird noises piped into the speakers every morning have got to go lol

It was a 24 person room which is a lot and the DJ at the bar played past 11pm. I should have done more research before booking.

The views were nice from the rooftop bar as advertised, but it's a public bar so I could have visited the bar on its own.

Wifi in the room was bad. The whole place has no hostel vibe as its just a restaurant and you cant cook. It feels like a souless money making enterprise. There was a used piece of chewing gum next to my bed when arrived. Theres no lock on the shower which was weird so i had to go to the bathrooms across the courtyard to shower. One toilet for the whole big dorm

Ovewhelmingly loud music in the common area where everyone was working on laptops...I don't think the dj is needed for that. Towel charge is not refundable, I couldn't believe. First time ever after years in hostels towel charge was not refundable.

For this to be advertised as a 5 star hostel is ludicrous in my opinion. The actual dormitories are very standard and I would personally say below average in terms of hostels and I have stayed in 100s. Not worth the money, could get a private room to share between 2 people cheaper than 2 friends/family booking 2 dorms. Disappointed overall I’m afraid to say

dark 24 bed dorm with 1 toilet & shower that could not be locked. reception lied to say it just broke and will be fixed, changed into a 8 bed after a big discussion (all dorm same price!!!), also there the lock was broken. rooms are ice cold. very unsocial, not including. staff didn’t know about anything that was going on in the city. didn’t feel welcomed at all.

The room is so cold. The blanket is not enough. I couldn't sleep with that. Also the room next to the road is too noisy. Had better wear ear plugs for sleep better.

The staffs are wonderful. They are very helpful, efficient, and passionate! The bed is clean and the restroom with shower room is neat too. The bar in the hostel is great too.
