This is a lovely property in an amazing location (probably best location in Antigua). The staff were amazing too, and took care of everything and very responsive even over whatsapp. My biggest issue with this was the room was too basic. There is absolutely nothing, barely any space, had to request a hair dryer. The rooms were tiny and the bed uncomfortable. The bed was very old and the headboard kept shaking. It was okay but not really the softest mattress. But the staff made a difference and the location too so I would definitely recommend it. The shower was good and the bathroom was spacious enough.

My room was small and it had 2 beds which took up a lot of space. Mgmt agreed to remove one bed when I return in the summer for a 3-week stay.

Staff was wonderful, so helpful. Location could not be better. I am disabled and staff did everything possible to accommodate me. Bed was very comfortable. My room was on ground floor in the back. It was very quiet. I didnt get to use the kitchen, but next visit, I will do so. The patio was beautiful. I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine.

One of the best places we stayed so far in Guate. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Coffee and kitchen access were a nice bonus. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and shower curtain! Safe and secure. Inner courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. Laundry service was reasonable price. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets. All the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

We had 2 bookings before and after Acatenango. The room we‘ve stayed in the first time was so tiny we could barely move if both of us were in the room at the same time. Also there was this really loud noise coming right above our room from the water pump. But when I told this to the staff they were very helpful and let us stay in a different room. The beds are quite old and uncomfy and the room we’ve stayed in the first time the linens were so thin it felt like we were sleeping directly on the matress. The second time we stayed there, the room (nr 12) was still small but very ok, no noise from the water pump and we had propper linens.

Bed was a little hard and sheets were quite thin (we could see through to the mattress).

Location and price make this a really good value find. It’s nothing fancy or special in terms of the rooms and facilities but certainly not bad. And the staff are very friendly.

The room is super small, pictures look better than the actual room. Beds are not too comfortable. We had an incident in the bathroom, due to the pressure of the water in the morning the shower broke. The quality of the toiletries in not the best either.

It is very close from the city center, you can walk everywhere. Staff is very nice. Wifi works well

The room had three beds to comfortably fit my two teens and I. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to keep our packs there for the day while we waited for our nighttime flight. The location is close to Parc central.

Rooms are not like the pictures, definitely need maintenance, first night we found a stain in the bed sheets which was not nice to find, staff makes noise in the early hours (around 7am), maybe it was our room but woke us up a couple of times.

Property is in a great location close to everything, the interior garden and terrace were super nice to have. Mercedes was lovely from the beginning to end.

I stayed on the top floor and when the wind blows It makes lots of noises through all the cracks in the room. Shower is very small. A little tight stairwell getting up to highest floor. Pillows could have had some softness.

The bed was very springy and our fitted sheet didn't fit the bed properly, so it kept coming off while we were sleeping. However, after we informed a housekeeper about the issue, she kindly replaced our fitted sheet with a larger sheet. The bathroom closest to our room required walking down a short staircase into a bathroom with a low ceiling, so be careful if you're tall.

The location was amazing -- just a block away from the Parque Central and right in the middle of the city. Everything is a short walk away from the hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel was quiet. Great location for the affordable price. The bathrooms were cleaned every day, and there was a nice courtyard and lounge to retreat from the city if desired.

Kitchen was a little worn and not super well equipped. I've seen better but also worse. It was clean though but due to the wear and tear it may look less clean. It seems like not a lot of people use it so it is not super well kept. Rooms were fine, clean and nothing to complain about. It's a little expensive but everything in Antigua is overpriced.

The hotel was clean and location good - very central. I enjoyed the free coffee. I particularly enjoyed all the small terraces/breathing holes and watching the sunrise over the volcanos from the rooftop terrace.

Now they gave us room #11 and it's a room by itself on the last floor which becomes quite hot and uncomfortable. The ceiling fan makes so much noise that we had to go and ask for a small fan.

Second stay at this hotel. They give you a 2 X 1 breakfast in a restaurant (10 min walk)
