Nothing - pretty simple accomodation but certainly not bad

Amazing staff- very accommodating and helpful. Even sorted us out with breakfast at 5 something a.m before we headed to Tikal. Impressed by how great the staff were.

the room was really hot with only a one ceiling fan and we had silk bedsheets which isn’t ideal when it’s 42 degrees and no aircon

the breakfast was a bit weak. it was cereal with milk and some white toast with leftovers of butter and peanut butter, but nice fruit. The coffee was not coffee though.

The rooms are poorly soundproofed as the majority of buildings are built this way.

The staff is just great! I forgot my toilet bag in the bathroom and they kept all safe and sound until friends of mine came to collect it days later. It is also very clean and it smells very fresh. It was also very nice that they guarded our backpacks while we could go off to explore the island before check-in time. The free water and coffee are very nice too and the small breakfast selection they offer is pleasant.

I sadly shared the room with a loud lady the second night, but that’s nothing to do with the hostel itself.

The staffs are friendly, informative, and welcoming. They invited me to see it as my other home, even after I checked out, they let me use their bathroom and refill water. The room is a twin room, so I only needed to share room with another person. The bathroom is really clean, and there was hot water. They even provided towel, soap, and a pack of shampoo! They also sell a lot of shuttle services, and tours. For the tour to Tikal with guide, from what I heard, the price is really great (Q 130 2023/04/06)

There was not really a place to wash your hands, bed was pretty unconfortable, the place to hang out was at the reception and not really inviting and the included breakfast is not really worth it, no kitchen

The bathroom sink was pretty much falling off the wall. The shower head was mounted at eye level for an average sized european with no option to raise it higher. The back of the closet was connected to another room, and the planks were placed in such a ways you could see into the other room then the closet doors were open. The bathroom door couldn't close. There was mould on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom. The ceiling fan sounded like a helicopter taking off when on the lowest setting, and like a rocket on the highest, but the room was so warm and badly ventillated that you really couldn't do without. The bed was the worst: the slightest movement would rock the entire bed worse than a boat in the worst storm.

The location on the island was nice and the staff were very kind.

Great small and simple hostel that only opened half a year ago. The staff is incredibly nice and helping however they can. They even offer breakfast even before 5 in the morning so people who leave for trekking/a tour can enjoy it. Towels and soap is also included:) Thank you so much for everything!

The room is super clean, the location is perfect, the price is very affordable, there is hot water, a good breakfast and the staff is very helpful! For having traveled to Chile, Peru and Costa Rica, Hostal Inn are one of the best hostels I have seen! 10/10

Facilities were horrendous, no sink in the bathroom and the whole place stank like mold. Also, there’s only 1 bathroom for all the rooms I think, so I always had to wait for the toilet, especially in the mornings. The beds were super uncomfortable, and the whole “2 bed dorm” was frankly creepy. I should have noticed that’s what I was booking, but it was not my favorite. Breakfast was moldy bread and the worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life. You can hear everything in the entire building, even the first next door farting. Staff were nice enough but uninterested. Tours and shuttles were overpriced.

Great people, great location and a really nice price. They also offer tours to different places at a great price, or help you find a good option to what you are interested in doing. Would definitely love to stay there again if going back to Flores in the future. Thanks Manuel for being very supportive and communicative throughout my stay!

I ordered a bed in a dorm. They put me in a 2 persons small room with one other person. As a solo traveler I found it uncomfortable to be alone with only one other person in the room. It was fine at the end, but I did not find it the best experience and I think they should have talked to me about it beforehand to see if I would be okay with this.

Good location,comfortable enough bed for the price with a fresh towel and soap. Breakfast is very very simple but for a 5 am breakfast it was sufficient.
