A fan in the room would’ve been nice since there isn’t any AC. The weather wasn’t too hot during our visit but I imagine I may have been really uncomfortable if it had been.

I loved the overall aesthetic. The location was great and the bed was comfy. The staff was pleasant and check in was easy.

What a little gem of a hotel! Nestled in an old colonial hacienda, this boutique hotel could not have been better. The staff were super friendly, the location was incredible and my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. I highly recommend and can’t wait to stay there again!

I would recommend staying in the 2nd floor as the areas to sit outside and views were amazing. I was unable to upgrade because they were full. There was no AC and I had to ask for a fan for the room.

This hotel was fantastic with the most amazing decorations and views from the rooftop. It was a magical place like none other I have stayed in. The breakfast was set in the beautiful garden. The staff allowed me to leave my luggage at reception till the evening. They provided free water and snacks in the afternoon which was a nice touch. The location was in the middle of all there is to see in Antigua.

I loved the grounds. There are many beautiful sitting areas including a nice rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the volcanoes with a 360 view. Breakfast was AMAZING. The mattress was wedged and uncomfortable. The bed looked good and everything was clean.

Every property I have stayed in has this problem in Antigua: noise from the hallways into the rooms, but this is just the price you pay for staying in such a historic community with unique architectural designs.

The courtyard is lovely and the self serve breakfast and coffee was perfect served in the courtyard. Excellent roof top terrace and sitting areas around the hotel. There are delicious self-serve beverages around the clock. The staff was incredible about accommodating our transportation when the roads to Guatemala City were blocked because of protests. After staying 4-5 other places in Antigua I will now always choose Meson de Maria first!

Very beautiful mansion turned into a hotel. Issue is it's a bit expensive for an old room. Our window was facing the courtyard, so we didn't feel like we had alot of privacy.

This trip my bed was not very comfortable and the room was very hot (the windows opened on the main floor to the courtyard, thus we had privacy or cool air).

The hotel has a wonderful location and beautiful common spaces in the patio and rooftop deck. The breakfast is high quality. The rooms are classic and nice.

Amazing old building with good atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was very clean and the hot shower was terrific. The breakfast was amazing, beste home made granola I’ve ate during my trip in Guatemala.

There are ongoing constructions next door, causing noise during the day. My room was really small, and I wasn't that lucky as others seemed bigger. The entrance door to my room was very narrow, with small windows as well. The Wi-Fi in the room was weak to nonexistent, likely due to the thick walls—installing in-room repeaters could fix this. The value for money didn't feel great considering the room size. I would have stayed longer, but the price increased. Breakfast didn't seem adequate for the price level. It's buffet-style with few options, and buffet eggs aren't as tasty as made-to-order. I'd prefer optional breakfast with lower room rates, as there are countless fantastic coffee places in town.

The property is absolutely lovely, featuring beautiful historical architecture and design. There are several peaceful common seating areas with lovely decor throughout. The staff was very friendly. My bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower worked well. The Wi-Fi in the courtyard was solid, and free bottled water was provided. The laundry service was efficient and fairly priced. You can't beat the location.
