A bit pricey, frankly, and they do need to check the plumbing in the bathroom. For example our shower had very little power but I think that would be solved by soaking the head in vinegar or similar solution. Also, the toilet flapper needed to be changed since water did not stop flowing. Also, be prepared for the cobblestone roads getting here. Brutal!

Great location and the hotel itself is very nice, quaint, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well.

The people in the adjoining room were loud, but that's not the hotel's fault, and eventually they quieted down.

I loved this little hotel with so many quaint little places to relax, read our just enjoy the fabulous architecture and also the views of the town and volcanoes from the roof. The staff are very kind and I enjoyed breakfast each day and the little touches like banana bread and tea at night. I will stay here again.

This is an old Spanish style house built around several courtyards. Beautifully and comfortably furnished with lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in to read your book and a rooftop with spectacular views of volcanoes, the cross viewing point and city rooftops.

Hot water isn't great but that maybe a infrastructure issue. It did not distract from our lovely stay.

The hotel is well decorated with small thoughtful details. The breakfast is exceptional with coffee, juices, tea, fruits and eggs with fried beans and sauces. Location is perfect. Beds are very comfortable and the staff are helpful. I would highly recommend. Later check-out is convenient.

Absolutely stunning building and tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect central location too! It’s great having a bath to relax in after an Acetanango hike, too.

The facilities are beautiful, the staff so kind and welcoming. I love the upstairs terrace and the gardens. The breakfast included with the room is excellent. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are lovely, and there are skylights in the bathrooms. I so enjoy staying at Meson de Maria and will do so again!

Charming, boutique hotel that is centrally located. Beautiful flowers and little sitting areas. Rooftop garden with great view of the volcanoes. Water and rosa de jamaica tea available in main patio area at all times. Tasty breakfast. My favorite hotel of all of the hotels I have stayed at in 23 visits to Antigua.
