It was difficult to communicate when I speak little Spanish and English wasn't spoken. I would have liked to have shared spaces to meet others. I left because it didn't have a kitchen.

Very basic, staff did not speak any English, no towels or shower mat in bathroom, slightly mouldy smell, no plugs next to every bed.

I really liked that our two beds were separated from the rest of the bedroom by a wall, and that the lights were also separate. It really helped with our comfort. The location was close to the main attractions, and we were able to do everything on foot.

The noise insulation of the building is not the best, as we could clearly hear the conversations of guests on the roof from our roof, but nothing a pair of earplugs can’t solve. This is also not even remotely a social hostel, which may or may not phase you! It’s also a tad annoying to have to ring the bell at night and wait for the front door to be opened, but it’s only at night and they’re very quick.

Great value for money. Clean, spacious, and so helpful to have filtered water everywhere. The staff were always delightful and helpful.

Interior bathrooms and bedrooms have little airflow. There are fans but it is warm, and worse, pretty humid and musty smelling. Also, I personally didn't need it, but I suppose no kitchen or common areas could be a negative.

Great location, overall very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Very basic facilities at very affordable prices. Perhaps one of the lowest cost hotels/hostels in the city.

Small items. There is no kitchen, not even a fridge, and the beds are a bit hard. The wifi works great on the 1st floor, but can cut out sometimes on the 2nd floor and the terrasse.

The location is amazing, right next to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (I don’t think I met a single one who wasn’t at this hostel), soap and hot water in showers, and a great terrasse at the top. The place is clean. There’s free pool access at the sister hostel too. I booked one night and stayed much longer

If we’d wanted to store luggage during acatenango I think they said it would be 50 per person for the night, plus extra for surfboards, whereas other hostels don’t charge. But for the price of the hostel in general really good value and we would return!

Nice courtyard area with seating. Water refill spots throughout the hostel. Colorful and light decor. Beds were comfy. Rooms felt clean and spacious enough. Location very central and near lots of restaurants. Staff are nice too!

After booking the manager increased the room rate because of Semana Santa, which we tried disputing but by that time we had nowhere else to stay. The laundry service ruined our clothes, which although was not the fault of the hotel, the manager did not want to discuss the matter and offered us a measily compensation given some of the items were unwearable.

Our private room was large, comfortable and clean. The property is located near good restaurants and attractions. We were there for Semana Santa and felt right in the heart of the action. Front of house staff lovely and helpful, despite our Spanish being terrible and requiring a translate app.

Staff was not very helpful at the checkin. We left our bags had we were early but it is directly at the entrance and the staff is not always there. I had a bed very high and was afraid to fall because there is nothing else then the mattress.

The localisation at the center is great! You have different toilets and dorms on separate floors. The vibe was not very present. There is only two showers and one doesn’t have the handle anymore so it can be tricky to open the water with soap.

There was no lockable storage for my belongings so I kept them under my bed. No thefts thankfully! Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often, especially at night when more people use the communal showers. Overall it got the job done.

Centrally located and close to the central part of the city. It was easy to walk and navigate around town. I enjoyed being near restaurants and local attractions.

No lockers, no kitchen, Wifi doesn't work well in all rooms, some rooms have private shower and some don't. You don't know which is which at the moment of booking.

I booked a final night here after staying already here 2 more times! I asked the guy at reception to wake me up at 3:30 to catch my bus at 4am, which he did, he was really kind and professional. I also appreciate that's it's a quiet hostel in comparison to other "party hostels" in Antigua.
