Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Indiathe breakfast was overpriced and so was the food. They took payment for everything in advance like they didn’t trust anyone. Quite sad for a hotel which says luxury. I feel sad for them.

Hong Kong1) cleaniness The corridor outside the hotel room is filled with stinky smell. The carpet in the room has stain. The toilet on the ground floor (next to the restaurant) is not clean at all. 2)customer service Staff are not professional and unhelpful. They are not accommodating to requests related to my child’s nap arrangement in the hotel room. When I told the staff not to disturb the room during my child’s naptime, the staff disregard this. 3)amenities The basic amenities eg: toothbrush, slippers are not provided (they need to be purchased on top) but no prior information was shared in the hotel website/the booking platform. The amenities eg: the TV is old with poor quality The overall experience was really bad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND future tourists to stay in this hotel.

The location is excellent for Disney. The hotel provide a free shuttle bus service to and from the resort. The room we had overlooking the bay was superb and well worth paying the extra. The room itself was excellent. Good size with a fantastic bathroom. Comfortable beds. The buffet in the hotel was very good if a little expensive. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

United KingdomOnly some small niggles - most was fantastic. Lockers did not seem to work in swimming pool changing rooms. Pool closed for cleaning at odd times so, for example not possible to have an evening swim at 6pm. The deep bath looked very luxurious and had amazing views but not very comfortable.
The most amazing location with outstanding views towards Hong Kong. Comfortable bedroom, staff who went above and beyond to help, delicious breakfast. Great swimming pool, beautiful beach nearby. Staff went above and beyond to help eg were incredibly helpful with information for a walk we wanted to do up to the ridge.

United StatesThey advertised a shuttle to/from Sunny Bay and Disneyland. BUT, it only runs Friday, Saturday and holidays. And, when it does run it takes you to the Metro stop for Disneyland. The restaurant was closed for a private function. The hotel itself is old and the rooms are run-down. Outlets didn't work. The only set of drawers in the 2-bedroom were in the closet of the smaller room and could not be opened because the closet door blocked them. The location is terrible. You needed to take a bus or taxi to get anywhere.

The view from our room was a stunning seascape. The bathroom was beautiful with a large window facing the sea. The bath was enormous. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Swimming pool was outdoors with plenty of loungers

1. away from crowds of Hong Kong : discovery bay itself is surrounded by beach and trees. Also , this is a good hotel to explore Lantau island (I took a 3.5 hour hiking from Tung Chung to Tai O, a historic fishing village ) and Peng Chau island of Hong Kong (another village that is 10 minutes ferry from Discovery bay's pier) 2. good value : typically a 4-star cosy hotel in Hong Kong with 32 square metre room space, at least HK$1800 per night 3. reliable transport service : bus route DB02R to airport running on a schedule once an hour , DB01R to subway station Tung Chung running on a schedule once every 15-20 minutes ), and a Kaito ferry service to Ping Chau island (around once an hour)
