Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsModern, clean, good beds. Location a little bit far from MTR. A nice park is on the other side of the road, but you cannot cross it. Takes a 20 minute plus detour to get there.

Hong KongMy stay was a little unique as I was working at a school nearby for a month, so location and price was perfect for me. Everyone I encountered aside from one receptionist who looked like he hadn’t slept in a week was courteous and professional. The room wasn’t massive but it had a good shower and cleaning staff were very good about cleaning room soon after I clicked make-up room button. The bed was a bit hard and the room a little dark so not sure I would stay again for a long period for that reason, but for short term stay I think it’s fine. The main reason you shouldn’t stay here is that if you are planning on using Mtr to get around it’s an 8-minute walk along a freeway and they’re doing construction along the footpath circa early April 2025 so now it’s narrow and noisy. Saying that, the shuttle bus to kwuntong is an alternative but the one time I took it, it felt like forever getting to the mall as there are so many stoplights along the way. You can get a taxi easily enough too. Finally, room service was okay, a bit overpriced but delivered to your door. Not a lot of options super close but if you don’t mind walking ten minutes there are places you can go. There is a 7-11 downstairs too thankfully.

PhilippinesThe hotel experiemce overall is great! staff are friendly, there is drinking water station in all floors. 7/11 is super helpful. the only bad thing is the location, 8-10 mins walk from the mtr station.its okey to walk but given that we have been walking the entire day going to the hotel was a pain. also, not much food restau just within the area! but if u will be staying and use grab or taxi - this place is just perfect

United KingdomThe main location downside was that the MTR (railway) was quite a walk and on the other side of a main road so you had to walk to a road bridge, over that and down the other side. It looks a lot closer to the MTR than it feels to walk it - no probem most of the time but when we were out late or had baggage, it was a challenge. Check in was ok but the guy wasn't very friendly. I had booked and was due to pay upon arrival. He barely spoke to me and then thrust this paper under my face and said pay by card. I felt pressured not to review the costs - I had booked this many months ago so just wanted to refresh my memory. He wasn't rude - just not very welcoming.
Room was great - at the end of the corridor and facing a road and some parks - much nice view than staring at nearby buildings. I grew up in HK so I know that affordable hotels often mean tiny rooms. This room was good enough for us. It was clean and had a fridge, TV, kettle, hair dryer - all the things you'd expect, and free wifi. The bathroom was a good size with a big walk in shower. It was quiet and useful to have a 7eleven just outside the hotel entrance. Still, we could have used the free shuttle bus so that's a great thing for them to offer. Taxis were easily available too and the walk to the bus stations was easy. Cleaning staff and those by the front door were friendly.

Philippines-Location was off-city, 700m from nearest MTR station and you rely on hotel’s shuttle to bring you to the nearest mall for restaurant, shopping. Unless one is ok to spend more time commuting and walking, then location should be fine; -Front desk and concierge was ok but not pleasant as you feel they are not happy with what they are doing; -Housekeeping was ok, pleasant and does her job well on making the rooms well kept. Not sure though if hotel policy to clean rooms once every two days as they didn’t clean mine until the second day despite being out early with a ‘make up room’ request.

MalaysiaThe location was a bit far from subway/bus stops. Even local eateries is a bit of a walk to get to. No lock on the bathroom doors, just slide to close, not suitable if not travelling with family. Not very big space for opening luggage. No hairdryer in the room.
Clean, comfortable bed. Proper double and single bed for 3. Very hard to find room for 3 occupancy. They do offer free shuttle bus to subway stations but needed to be pre-booked and at pre-fixed hour only.

Hong KongThere is no pedestrian bridge over the busy road directly opposite the hotel, no traffic lights, nor pedestrian access across the road. In fact, if one alights at the bus stop across from the hotel, it is impossible to cross the road due to high fencing. This means a one kilometre walk or more in either direction just to cross the road. Suggestion: take airport bus A32 to the final stop, the terminus. Use cellular GPS to navigate a 10 minute downhill walk to the hotel. If you have heavy luggage and if it’s raining, take a taxi from the airport.
The room, although compact, was particularly bright and comfortable. The large shower, a delight. The shuttle bus service directly to an MTR station and shopping mall was of great convenience. Ms. Cherry, the restaurant supervisor, demonstrated excellent customer service skills in English during our stay, which was most helpful.

AustraliaThe light at the bed head. I prefer only one side of the bed to be lit up so as not to disturb the other person who is sleeping. As light can shine out of the bathroom door, one's sleep can be disturbed if someone uses the bathroom at night.
Color scheme is pleasant. Kettle looks stylish. I even googled to find out more about it and had hope to buy one for myself. I appreciate the shuttle service to Metroplaza. The indicator for the "do not disturb" sign was stylishly incorporated onto the door. It spells "class". I appreciate all these details.
