Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

MacaoRoom wasn't very clean. Stains on the bedding Worse a pubic hear on the duvet cover. Found coins and other debris from previous guests. The shower head wouldn't adjust correctly The breakfast buffet was so busy and queues for 10 mins plus for items. The staff clearing up were miserable and unhelpful.

In the morning I asked concierge if I can take a shower somewhere when I return they said sure just ask they will organize something, planned my whole day around that. Got back different people at concierge said sure, just ask for a key made a reception, reception look at me like I was crazy, just said no they can't help, very rudely

BrazilStaff was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Their English was very poor, so I understand they might've been unable to be more helpful rather than actively rude, but it did come across as dismissive and that they weren't interested at all in helping us. I'm partly to blame as had I known I'd stay in Hong Kong beyond a quick connecting flight I'd had put in the effort to learn some key phrases in Cantonese before visiting to communicate more effectively. However, it isn't unreasonable to expect a hotel by the airport to have receptionists with conversational rudimentary English. English is an official language of Hong Kong, although I understand that's primarily a second language to Cantonese. Regardless, it was a significant headache being unable to effectively communicate with hotel staff.
We booked the hotel due to flight delays, forcing us to stay a night in Hong Kong, so we chose a hotel close to the airport with shuttles to and from the airport. It was a spacious enough room with a nice view. Clean, had amenities and portable hot and cold water faucets on each floor. It's very far from the city, but it is perfectly located for a quick airport connection. There's also a 24/7 convenience store in front of the hotel. Hotel was convenient and comfortable enough for its purpose.

United StatesI used the airport shuttle - you are required to load your own bags underneath the bus and retrieve them as well with no help from the driver. If your bag gets pushed to the back, this requires crawling into the space to get your luggage. The dinner buffet was marginal as well - no bread or rolls and mostly Asian with little choices for Western food.
