Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongThe free coffee in the lounge 41st floor was not great. The bed pillows could be better quality, unless we just had some older ones in this room on the 38th floor.
I stay in hotels often for work trips and the HARBOUR GRAND did not disappoint. The big bath tub is awesome and actually that is why I will be back again.

Hong KongIm completely split in terms of their staff service. The tall lady handing out the health declaration was nice. However I was dissatisfied with the concierge service, the staff had messed up our room booking so I called to explain the situation. It took ages for them to answer, had to try twice, and after the staff had picked up finally, she did not even bother apologizing and hung up before I had finished talking. For a 5 star hotel, I was expecting better.
Great room, had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Be sure to get a high floor for the room, if not you'll be seeing the neighboring building as your view. Location is close to restaurants such as Five Guys, and Chop Chop ( good clay pot cha siu ) , and Park n shop for groceries. Few minute walk to Mtr or Bus stops, very accessible. The bar upstairs is a must visit at night, great view, and cocktails. If you are lucky, every now and then there will be someone playing a harp at the lobby, quite a signature for the hotel, I truly appreciate the player and the instrument.

ThailandI asked the hotel to give me a high-floor room ( in special request via Booking.com’s website) because of special event of New Year’s Holliday and I selected this hotel for our celebration. but I’ve got the lowest floor (8 Fl.), we expected to see the beauty of Hong Kong’s harbour view, as we booked the deluxe room with harbour view. But …… we thought we would get higher floor, not lowest floor. Hummm, At least I hope the hotel manager and anyone it may concern would understand customer’s emotion and expectation.
I like the location, big toilet, very comfy bed and pillow

United Kingdom1. very limited food items on Club Floor (1-3 items for afternoon tea and evening refreshments), breakfast below standard expected for 4/5 star hotel especially for Club Floor and for the rate charged (we understand it's catered for/with HK cuisine so mostly pork items, but very limited for non-pork eaters), no fresh egg station or any other fresh station, just option of veg omelette. very disappointing. 2. only 1 english film channel, old TV (though said smart tv), no streaming channels, carpet not clean, remote didn't work and a few trips by engineer to fix/replace remote.
harbour view from room, very good sized room on 40/F - only good thing is harbour view.

Hong Kongan unexpectedly long waiting time for check in. it took more than 75 mins standing in a queue without any other measures to comfort the customers, such as giving a number card with returning time, sufficient seats in the lobby for the elderly…… just can’t imagine the hotel management won’t sort out that serious issue as this is the first impression of the customer to the hotel.
the restaurant on 41/F is amazing with the stunning view of Hong Kong. Really worth to enjoy your breakfast there.

Hong KongThe only one improvement can be made is the carpet in the room. There is a few stains in the dark carpet. The cushion of the chair has stains too.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly to all guests! Receptionists are patient and professional providing checkin and checkout service efficiently even there’s long queue. The interior is modern. Room is clean with natural bright light from windows. Windows are clean with no stains. Bedcover and pillows are tidy. It’s spacious and comfortable. Wifi is stable. Most importantly, it’s quiet with good soundproof. I stayed right in front of the lift but no noise disturbance once the door is closed. To sum up all mentioned above, it is a good and pleasant stay.
