Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Hong KongBooked deluxe king on floors 26 to 33 with a harbour view. However was initially checked in a room on 10th. In going up to the room, the room was right outside the elevator, was dim and felt old. A far cry from my previous stay two years earlier. In looking out the window, the harbour view was cramped and reminded me that I had booked a room on the higher floors. On trying to call the front desk, the phone did not work while trying multiple times. On going back down to front desk, had to wait another 10 minutes or so in queue before speaking to someone else. On explaining that I had booked a room on a higher floor, the front desk tried to explain that I had been upgraded to a better room to my subdued obvious disbelief. At no point was this mentioned during the initial check-in. I further added the issues with condition of the room, and the person tried to explain that I happened to be unlucky and that all rooms were refurbished around the same time. I was then checked into a room on 26th. The room was much more welcoming and familiar with the experience during my previous stay.

AustraliaThe bath was dirty upon checking in! There were stains & posdible residual bath salt. Bathroom wall was only stained. I was looking forward to a good soak after a tiring day & the flight. I was too exhausted after the ordeal at MTR station to call at night. Proximity to MTR station is great. But when you have a large sized luggage bag, it is no fun hoisting it up 2 flights of staircases! Had I known this, would have taken a taxi from HK express station, instead of risk toppling over staircase with my luggage. No lift. Escalator only up to concourse. It would be nice to mention this. Upon check in, she reminded me THRICE no smoking room. I know I booked a non smoking room! 🙄 For goodness' sake I can't even stand the smell of smoke. Not even a mention of the facilities like the skyview from your top floor's opening hours, add on breakfast options or restaurants available and which floor. Those salient infos were not conveyed upon check in. And it was not busy that night. I enquired at concierge the next day regarding the skyview, didn't go anyway as was raining the next day.
Harbour view was well visible on my 3rd night & day. Don't know if the rain cleared the window or air of dust. Everything looked hazy the first 2 days. Concierge team was very helpful, even when I had general questions. Mr Parmar assisted me to get a taxi to HK express station after I checked out. Housekeeping staff greeted everytime we cross paths & were very apologetic when I requested to clean bathroom & bath tub that hadn't been cleaned property pre check in. These staffs are the only reason I didn't give a lower rating. Comfortable bed. Good effort in sustainability. Would be good to inform beforehand though so guests can come prepared, I was, but came across others who weren't. I don't understand the logic of not providing bottled water, but can purchase it! Please have a water filter/dispenser at lobby that people can fill up with their own bottle instead!

We got the "Harbor Club" rooms which were on the higher floors (35, 37 and 39) with a great view of Kowloon Bay and Victoria Harbor. It was magical. Location: It's just 5 mins walk to the train station. Near the hotel is Five Guys, 7-11, McDonalds and other restos for those on a budget. Staff: They were great! They were all helpful specially Luke and Maverick. They even sent each of our rooms a bottle of wine since 2 of my children are graduation from college, it's the birthday of my youngest daughter on June 30th and I celebrated my birthday there. We didn't try their breakfast, but we did try the fabulous French toast at the 41st floor - where we have capuccino every morning. Elma was very gracious. I love the place! They have a pool and spacious gym!
