Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongWe have stayed at the property several times previously and it has always delivered well. However this time it seemed as though they had overlooked our reservation as clearly no room had been allocated and it took them time to allocate one. The room, on the fifth floor was dirty the desk chair was broken and in two pieces and the bathroom filthy -toilet dirty bath plug totally jammed with two fist full of hair.(horrible). However the recovery by duty manager was good and fast - sincere and genuine apologies-immediate offer to change rooms (declined as we had unpacked) - thorough cleaning of room - replacement of broken chair etc.

AlbaniaI had booked predential Hotel for a 5-night stay in Hong Kong. My primary reasons for choosing this hotel were its convenient location near the MTR and the comparatively larger room sizes. While the hotel itself was decent — the room was clean and the facilities were generally satisfactory — my experience during check-in was disappointing and set a negative tone for the trip. I had made a request for early check-in at the time of booking via Booking.com, as my flight was scheduled to land at 6:30 AM. I reached the hotel at 8:30 AM and was assisted by Mr. T-R-E-R-R-O-N Wong at the reception. He started the check-in process, took my documents, processed my payment, and even handed me the key card holder — but not the actual room key. Then he informed me that the official check-in time would still be 2 PM. I politely reminded him about my early check-in request, explaining that I was traveling with a two-year-old child after a long flight and that we were in Hong Kong to celebrate his birthday. I also pointed out that if the hotel would not have electricity between 9:30 AM to 5 PM — as he mentioned — then it seemed unreasonable to deny early check-in after already taking the full payment for a room that would effectively be without power during the check-in period. Instead of showing empathy, Mr. Wong was rude and dismissive. He quoted an additional HKD 500 + taxes for early check-in — which I even agreed to pay — but his tone turned aggressive when I asked why I should pay extra for a room that would be without electricity during the time I had already paid for. He told me not to speak to him “like that”, even though I had remained calm throughout. His behavior came across as discriminatory, and it felt like I was being treated unfairly. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself could have offered a pleasant experience, but front desk interactions — especially during a family trip with a toddler — really matter.

United Arab EmiratesLocation in the center of Kowloon. From Jordan to Tsim Sha Tsui one metro station only and Two metro station to Mongkok. Accessible by all kind of transportation bus A21 from Airport stops infront of the Hotel. Nice walk to tourist spot areas like Avenue of the Stars, Kowloon Park, Victoria Harbor etc.. Restaurants, shops, mall, pharmacy, money changer in every corner. We are family 4 adult with 3 children and my Mom who was a senior. We were able to bring her properly and comfortably to all the locations cause the Hotel lend us wheelchair which we were able to used for 3 days and we are thankful for that. Everything was convenient, staff were very helpful and courteous. We requested a connecting room which is very good as we were family. Complimentary drinks in the fridge. Its recommendable and we will surely book again once we come back.
