Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

China1. The toilet and washbasin space is small. 2. The inn is at 8th floor of the building. The elevator space is also small.
1. Location: Excellent. It is next to Yau Ma Tei metro station, having access to various restaurants. We can easily walk and visit shops towards Mong Kok, and by metro we can go to many important business and tourist locations. 2. Room: Bed is very comfortable, and room is clean.

ItalyThere is no one in the apartment except the cleaning lady, but she pretends not to listen to you when you need something, she acts crazy. I found the cleaning to be very poor, basically she only tidies the rooms, but there doesn't seem to be any proper cleaning. The hot water is also a problem, although they changed me to an apartment where there was hot water, it just flew for 5 minutes. And then got coldly warm again. The price is too high for not having a proper hot shower whenever you need.
They changed my room for a window room and I was happy. The location is the good thing of the apartment. And the important thing is that, even though there was no one present in the apartment, they were helpful when I needed them, via message.

United StatesAlthough I already knew it, it’s very small. So just keep that in mind when booking! I made it work :) so it’s not that much of a drawback. The bed is also very firm, some people may not like it. However it was fine for me
The location is actually amazing! Right near Kowloon park which was my favorite park out of them all. I would stay here again.

TaiwanYou literally, do not meet a human being, only a phone and key pads at the entrance to the building, the elevator and the door at the apartment followed by a key box, You need to phone to find the key box code.
The location is ideal near Yau Ma Tei MTR station, especially while transiting from a late night flight to an early morning train to Shenzhen.

CanadaMy room was tiny, probably the tiniest room I've every stayed in. Same thing with the bathroom, could barely fit in! Make sure to carefully read the instructions on how to find the building, it is a bit more complicated than what it seems due to the fact that this is a huge building (half a block!) and there are at least 3 entrances, but only entrance A gets you to the side of the floor where the inn is located, the others won't. The A entrance is just outside exit B1 from the metro station, next to a jewelry on Waterloo street. The card for my room didn't always work, it would require at least a couple of tries to open...
The location is great, literally two steps from the metro station. Hong Kong island is just 15 minutes away by metro, the airport is not too far either. The area is not touristic per se, it is a working class area and some of the buildings look run down, but it is a safe and "authentic" part of HK, lots of local businesses where to eat and buy things. Considering how expensive HK can be, I think the inn provides good value for the price. Something to consider is that this inn is tiny, literally only 5 rooms; so don't expect a full hotel service. The manager of the inn responds very quickly by WhatsApp or booking.com, which is highly appreciated!

NetherlandsThere is only one chair in the room.As i travelled with my partner, either one of us had to sit on the bed or else nowhere to sit. Is a pity the room was a bit too small for having two chairs.
A clean tidy room for a reasonable price. It has everything needed for a short stay. The owner was very friendly. Totally recommend for a short stay. Great location, is right next to metro stop and has many restaurants nearby.

ItalyThere are no curtains in the bathroom, which is just made of glass, so the sun shines through very early in the morning. The entrance of the building was a bit hard to find and the doorcodes were not updated. Overall it feels quite pricey for what it offers.
The room is modern and clean, and the staff was friendly. I never met the manager but communication via WhatsApp was fast and they were really helpful & flexible when I had to pick up the tablet that i had forgotten there.

United KingdomThere was no wardrobe but they did supply a few hangers to hang on the clothes hooks which was ok, but there were no drawers to put your smaller garment on/in.
The property is situated 'almost' on Nathan Road, but I have to admit we had difficulty finding the entrance, as the entrance actually on Nathan Road (as per the address) is not the way in!! Having said that, once you know the way to get there it couldn't be simpler. If using MTR, use exit B1 at Yau Ma Tei station. At the top of the stairs basically do a left 180degree turn and immediately you begin to walk down the road the entrance to the building is on the left (next door to the jewlers). It does look a little unwelcoming admittedly, but it is fine and there are quite a few residents in the block. You need a entrance code to get into the building. From there take the lift up to Floor 8 (the lifts can be slow and very busy), where there is a sign 'Bloomsbury Inn'. Again, another code is required to get into the area, and then a card key to get into your room. There are only about 5 rooms in total. The room is not large but adequate in size. There is no wardrobe and no drawer facilities which were the only downside. There is a small fridge and the wifi and air conditioning were really good. We overlooked Nathan Road and considering how busy it can be there with traffic we could hardly hear a thing. Being so close to the MTR is fabulous as it can keep you out of the heat and humidity or rain as soon as you leave the accommodation! The shower is good, but the sink very small. There are quite a few places to eat nearby, especially on Nathan Road, plus several 'take aways', and a small supermarket just across the road for provisions / snacks. If wanting to pay by credit card check they take it, as when we went they still weren't set up for accepting credit card payments even though it indicated that credit cards were accepted on the Booking.com site.

SwitzerlandSmall points but important: The hotel is hard to find, there are with no sign outside the building only inside but you cannot go inside without the code that they didn't send me. It happened only when I arrived and I texted because I couldn't find the place No wardrobe. I had to leave my luggage open on the desk Despite I left the sign to clean the room, they didn't do it
Very clean Location is good that there's the metro just in front of the entrance of the building Quite. Overall inside the room is quite even if it's in front of the main road.

The location was perfect. Right in front of Yau Ma Tei MTR entrance B1! Everything was nearby, especially lots of food options, as well as a branch of the iconic 7 eleven convenience store!! Super-clean, with fresh towels and toiletries. Loved the view from my room. Mr Vincent was always available through booking.com/WhatsApp. The best part was 24x7 security. Always felt at ease. Would love to stay here again if I ever happen to return to HKG.
