Location wise was good but my room was really hide in and the place itself is like a labyrinth on my pillow there were something like pubic hair and the toilet light wasn’t working

Absolutely no pressure in the shower and the room is close to the road. After 5am, no way you can sleep. At all 😭

1) Despite having a booking for a private room, I was initially told to go to another property a few. blocks away. When I refused, I was given a 5-bed family room for the same amount. 2) No hot water. 3) The receptionist while I was checking out pretended to not know that a deposit of 200 Lempira was due to me, and started reprimanding me for asking for it, although I had informed them the previous night. (This is a not uncommon ruse among some receptionists in some hostels, either promising small change in local currency after a dollar payment later, or dilly-dallying with deposit refunds). 4) The fridge has a defrosting issue with a lot of water pooling in at the bottom.

1) The receptionist at checkin was very helpful and thorough, gave me a tour of the facilities and answered my questions to the best of her abilities, even making a call to the museum on my behalf. 2) The kitchen is large and well-equipped, lots of space in the fridge. 3) The security is excellent, and the location in Colonel Palmira is good, a big supermarket and ATM are 550 meters away, and a direct 1.5km walk takes you to the historic center of Tegucigalpa. Easy for Ubers to reach as well. 4) Excellent common terrace space with a good view of the city.

We arrived at night after a 10 hour trip from Salvador - around 9pm, had to wait about 15-20 minutes until the receptionist registered us at the hotel, later we found out that we had to move to another address a few kilometers away. It took us 35+ minutes just to get to the hotel and our room. At night, the security guard turns off the lights at 10pm while you are just sitting and eating, tells us to go to bed, and it is forbidden to watch TV. There is a strict curfew, it is a very strange feeling to be watched even though we are not making any noise. An unpleasant experience with the hotel.

1. They have check-in area at a different location that the area of stay. (To be fair, they dropped me along with my baggage to the area for staying.) But just as they refunded me deposit at the site of stay, they could have checked-in at the same. 2. All the above mentioned area near kitchen is not to be used by guests in clear light. It is prohibited to use light after (I think) 9 PM. So imagine that some guests were chatting with others in total darkness. When someone tried to switch the lights on, the watchman came to switch that off and say, "It is prohibited to switch on the lights now!" WTF, what is the use of the large & nice area if it cannot be used upto a decent hour such as 12 midnight? {It is away from rooms, so people talking loud here, won't disturb the guests sleeping earlier. 3. The staff other than the watchman disappears post 6 pm. I was working on my computer when many people came and asked me about checkin. 4. NO Card payment, ONLY Cash! Four negative points are a bit too many, BUT the place was actually good! I do not mind staying here again!

The room was large. The overall area was clean! Though it rained & lobby became dirty with footwear, it was cleaned immediately. They have a kitchen, a paid laundry on site. They also have a large area for sitting near the kitchen for dining, TV, even for ironing clothes etc. I could sit at the dining table & conduct an online meeting, so wifi was good & ambience was better! The laundry service was fast & efficient. On my day of checkout, it was raining & quite cold and the watchman offered me coffee early in the morning.

1. There was no clear indication on the front door, making it hard to know if you’re at the right place. 2. There was no hot water; installing a simple electric heater could easily resolve this. 3. Somewhere outside, a noisy device (possibly a fan) turned on for 10 seconds every few minutes, including during the night, making it difficult to sleep. These issues seem simple to address and could greatly enhance the guest experience!

When I arrived the water was completely out in both bathrooms in the dorm room and they only ever fixed one of them by the time I left. So you had 16 beds using one toilet - you can work out what that was like. The dorm is basically one big room with 16 beds that resembles a hospital. The beds themselves are very flimsy and feel like they could collapse. Very cheap. It’s the only hostel in the city though so you have no other choice if you want a hostel and not a hotel

The Wi-Fi is good and the hostel also has an amazing dog which is very friendly and has fur and a tail. The kitchen is well equipped

There was a lot of noise pollution from the busy road from around 7am onwards in the morning. Also, there was only cold water in the shower. Finally, the drinking water was only for staff.

The staff were great and very helpful. There was also a lovely rooftop and plenty of hangout areas.

Its near Cafetano (café), malls and restuarants. You can walk around the area and they offer a trip to El Picacho. I had to extend my stay and they accommodated my request. They clean the room everyday.

We couldn't connect to any of the WiFi networks in our room (room G). Both night table lamps didn't have any lamps. After asking we got one lamp, so one did work. The bathroom was a bit small and the shower had cold water and low water pressure, so the bathroom wasn't comfortable.

The hostel has a nice big roof terrace where you can barbeque, multiple hammocks and a semi-nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Also, we were able to securely park our motorcycles. The staff was really nice and helpful as well.
