United StatesThe hotel staff provided excellent service. Sthefeny Arauz at the front desk welcomed us with a friendly smile. She was professional, friendly, and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the employees were courteous and helpful (guard at the parking lot, the porter, the cleaning crew, waitresses at the Market Restaurant). The facilities such as the gym, spa, restaurants, swimming pool were cleaned and in working condition. Our room was very cleaned and it had coffee maker, refrigerator, coffee, tea, water bottles. Also, we had a robe and slippers for each of us to wear. The WIFI worked very well. Breakfast was amazing, they had all kind of food warn and cold for all kind of appetite. We had an awesome experience, definitely recommend this hotel, and we’ll return.

United StatesUpon checking in the desk staff was amazing. I went out with friends that evening as we were all in town. I know the rules of this hotel and I am very shocked for them to tell me I was not allowed a guest that evening. As I've stated, I have stayed at over 20 Intercontinental Hotels. The security guard and the nightshift front desk clerk denied my guest entry. It was already after midnight and it was not an overnight guest as it was well into the next day. In addition to this I was told I'd have to pay $20 for my guest (because of the hour of the night). This hotel treated me like I was bringing a sex worker into this establishment and this was very degrading and an embarrassment for me. I argued with them, and wanted to see the policy stating that, and of course they could not show me. This is now going on 5am. I called corporate immediately because I knew this was inaccurate on the management of this hotel. They said the management would reach out to me regarding this issues, in which they have yet to do so, which I am not surprised. Upon checking out, I expressed my concerns to the front desk clerk and she confirmed that what I told the gentlemen on night shift was correct and they should have allowed my guest to come up with no charge. It has now been 5 days without me hearing from the hotel, nor them trying to attempt to make this right on their wrong doing.
The bed was extremely comfy as always. I've stayed at over 20 Intercontinental Hotel's in my life and they beds are always good.
