How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only issue we could state was that the room we were in didnt have great blackout to the outside lighting. This was a minor issue though.
This staff was very accomodating and receptive, we had significant changes to our plans and they met us at the taxi and helped us into the hotel well after midnight. This was the only location we have stayed at that the thermostat was fully available to us. This is very great.

Bed linen might need updating and also reception area.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for sightseeing. Parking is easy as they have a location nearby which is very important especially during the busy months. Parking on the street is very expensive in comparison. Breakfast was good and the room was good too. The staff are more than helpful which can make or break a holiday.

WiFi in our room was very patchy, but we were told the system had been changed four days beforehand and that they would investigate it
Miriam made us most welcome, and was a wonderful hostess. The location was fantastic, being close to the bus station and the city centre. Breakfast was very good too

heating. But Pula is a summer destination, so it's understandable

The staff is great, specially Mirjana who helped us a lot. It's near everything, the breakfast is good and it is comfortable. It's like being at home.

The only thing that could have been better is the breakfast. You can order scrambled eggs which are great, but the other things could be a little better. Other than that, there are no flaws in my opinion.
The location was great. It is 100 meters from the amphitheater and 10min to the city centre. It is a beautiful walk in the morning. The important thing for me was a parking spot which is 100m from the hotel The street parking is usually 4 € per hour and you can be a limited time (only 3 h max I think).

We arrived by ferry from Venice, (that arrives at (9:00pm), the manager kindly waited for us. It is a most convenient location for folks arriving by the that ferry.

Quite plain and not what I have in four star hotels. This is a three star hotel. I could have asked for an omlette, but I did not know that I had this option.

Lovely historic hotel in a great location. 5-10 minutes to arena and sites as well as close proximity to the bus and ferry. Staff was very helpful and professional.

Parking the car at the hotel has an extra cost (it is very expensive to park in the town anyway)
Very good location in the centre. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very clean and AC was wonderful and very appreciated with the heat. Good breakfast:)

Location could not have been better! At the Coliseum in less than a 2 minute walk. Main square and town were a very easy walk. Very clean and staff was great.

No lift as small minus, but it was not so problematic in the end.
Very helpfull and smiling staff. Big recommendations because of that. About check-in they were very helpful and provide all information I needed.

The hotel i appreciate is an old hotel and don,t expect elevators etc, but its very dated and the windows were rotten, It definitely requires some upgrades for the price that is charged. Location is what you are paying for

Everything good.
Neat hotel, very friendly staff, not very modern but more than sufficient for staying a few nights. Good location, 2 min by foot to the amphitheatre and 5-7 min to the old town.

The bathroom was very small.
The owner was very accommodating. When he heard we had to leave early for a ferry departure, which meant we would miss the breakfast, he left us fruit and snacks. We also appreciated him helping us up the stairs with our bags and explaining the map of the city.
