It was very very hot in Zagreb, and the fan in the room did not cool it enough, so we woke feeling a little sick and without enough sleep because of the heat.

The best part is the helpful friendly staff. The room was big and airy, with a comfy bed and the shower was perfect. We liked the common room and free juice!

Rooms were very comfortable. Although they didn't have A/C in the rooms, we had a fan which kept everything very cool during the night. Reception area is lovely and the sweets were such a lovely touch! Would recommend staying here.

A beautiful space, great value for money and a good location. The exterior doesn't impress but walk inside and the owners have done a great job. It's welcoming with a kitchen area where tea, coffee and juice is available for guests. It felt like a Guesthouse. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Comfortable bed. Spacious rooms with good quality linen and towels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hostel is great, with very friendly and helpful staff and a nice, clean room with a comfortable bed. It is central - close to the old town and the bus station, and it's easy to walk around the city. Would definitely stay again!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything. The beds were super comfortable, clean, and had a lovely sitting area in the family room. Along with extras such as drying rack, amenities with toothbrushes, makeup pads, cotton buds, shower gel & even little chocolates! Great kitchen / breakfast area as well with tea, coffee, milk & juices all complimentary!

Nothing. It was a slow season so we met a few other travelers. We want to visit summer next time!

Very clean, safe, easy walk to the center. Staffs were very friendly and gave us a lot information. We stayed with 2 little kids. We all enjoyed and were happy to stay at Dots hostel. There are two great restaurants 1 minute walk from the hostel which is taste of India(we went twice during our stay) and GOSTIONICA RESTORAN PURGER (great Croatian food). And bakery is a block away from the hostel.

Room's door is quite thin so you can hear noises coming from corridor. Fortunately during my stay there was not many neighbours.

Excellent location at walking distance to city center and railway station. Comfortable room with enough space, bathroom equipped with miniproducts, Personel really nice and helpful. There is a common area when you have access to the kettle and teas selection which is really nice. Excellent price&quality ratio.

The Dots Hostel exceeded our expectations, be it for the helpfulness of the hostess who was attentive to all our needs and gave us lots of useful info; or the excellent rooms which were adapted for families, quiet, very clean. We really appreciated the spacious lobby and fully equipped kitchen that made us feel at home. The central location was paramount for visiting the city by walking. This is definitely a reliable address.

Personally, I think there are limitations with the internet connection inside the rooms. Also tiny bits of mold are visible in the bathroom and shower areas. These however are rather minor issues.

I like the layout of the entire hostel. Each room was based on a city or town in Croatia. The reception and the breakfast lounge had either Christmas decorations or positive message. The host Josipa was friendly and accomodating.

This a great place to stay in Zagreb. Great location for walking in the lower town and upper town. Close to great restaurants and attractions. The room we had was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a nice common kitchen/dining area. The staff is great and were always kind and helpful.

Sometimes in the room the internet had a bad connection but possibly because of the weather! Not in any chance that ruined my stay!

Amazing people, very friendly, very helpful and welcoming!! I arrived earlier than the check in time and even if I didn’t ask for, the room was prepared instantly and I checked in!! The location was great!! Very close to public transportation, (tram lines and the central railway station), yet very close to the central square and the main sightseeing district as well!!! The room was super clean, the lobby area, the breakfast room were super clean! The hostel is as seen on the internet photos!! I would definitely come back!!

Perfect one night stay for a solo traveller. The room is clean and quite which is just like a hotel room. I love the free snacks and drinks, as well as the spacious common kitchen area. The host is very friendly and nice and polite who allows me to check out a bit later, and store my luggage until late night. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Zagreb!

No complaints

Friendly, accommodating staff. They went out of their way to be helpful. We had scheduled a day trip and they said we could drop our luggage at 8am. When we got there, they had arranged it so that we could check in right away (posted check-in is in the afternoon) and access our room immediately. They also arranged our taxi for the airport. Everything was made easy. The room was bright and cheery and the whole hostel felt clean comfortable.

I didn't notice it was a public bathroom before moving in, actually I kind of minded this. It's actually a cost-effective option if you can accept public bathroom.

My main point is to compliment the hotel staff, our bus was late (I want to complain about flixbus always being late) and the staff were waiting for us. Since our plan for the next day was to go to Plitvice Lakes, we placed our luggage at the hotel and they kept it for us until 6pm to pick up our luggage.
