Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomA huge thank you to all of the family for my wonderful stay here at Abimana. My accommodation was exceptional, equipped with kitchen, dining area, large bathroom, a dressing room, bedroom and porch area, all set amongst the families beautiful temple. I would have happily lived here! The spaces were kept very clean and felt relatively modern and the general ambience was very peaceful. I loved that it was located in a local village, in a peaceful area with surrounding nature. To stay here you would certainly need a motorbike, I enjoyed the 30 minute ride down into Ubud which took me through lovely rice fields. In the mornings, I loved to take the yoga mat which was provided into the garden to practice. Following which I would have a fantastic coffee and a delicious breakfast. The coffee and food was of a very high quality, I'm craving it as I write this! The family were very warm and welcoming, I could feel their kindness and pure hearts. I was invited to join to watch the local celebrations with them and kindly given traditional clothes to wear. I can't speak highly enough of my stay here and I hope to return one day!

TurkeyAlmost nothing. It would be better to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the room after the previous check-out.
I would like to say that I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The garden of the hotel was very beautiful and my room was comfortable. They welcomed me with a very nice welcome drink. The hotel is run by a family and they are all very kind and friendly people. The pancakes and coffee I had for breakfast were very delicious. The staff was very helpful in planning my trip in Bali. Japar, one of the staff members, sometimes took me to the places I wanted to go and sometimes helped me on how to go. On the last day of my stay, he planned the Batur Mountain hiking tour and helped me to end my holiday on a good note with his pleasant conversation along the way. Thank you for everything Abimana Ubud. Hope to see you again :)

IndonesiaFor some it may be disadvantage that it's a ~30min ride to ubud center, but for me it's perfect. And there's moment that if you want to get to the shower you have to go outside and cross outside kitchen to get to bathroom.,but as I went nobody was there, so it's still quite private :)
Very quiet, clean and pleasant place, for those who don't like cities, bars, clubs and prefer authentic local village atmosphere. Big kitchen, beautiful bathroom, AC in a room, cosy terrace, everything is clean ❤️ will come back again.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaNothing. Just bear in mind it’s a little out of Ubud so you would need a scooter / Gojek to get about but the location suited me perfectly.
I stayed for 8 nights at Abimana. The family there were so lovely & caring towards me. Always with a smile & a hug. The room was comfortable, including bed & pillows, good AC. The garden is beautiful & the food at the warrang fresh & delicious flavours. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe.

AustraliaThe street dogs fought many evenings which was loud and kept me up, however not the hotels fault as you get this everywhere. Just bring ear plugs 😂
I loved staying at Abimana, it was perfect for where I needed to be (FYI you’ll need a scooter or taxi to get places). Having the restaurant was so convenient and the food was delicious and so well priced! My host treated me like family and I felt safe and looked after.

I choose this Accomodation because of two main reasons: it is not in the middle of ubud center and the warung had good recommendings. The Warung is more a Restaurant in a beautiful garden. You also can have breakfast in the Warung and the food all in all was amazing: Every chosen course was perfekt!!!! You also can rent a scooter to fair rates: it s the same rate if you rent it at a Station. The hole family is very nice and kind! I got a very nice breakfast at the last day, before leaving, without asking, they helped me with petrol, when i forgot to refuel it, and everyone is very helpfull and friendly in general. The room includes Lots of space for clothes, has own space for sitting, an extra terrace, and a small kitchen. I enjoyed my time a lot and Jafar brought me to my next place for a fair rate. It s a short and nice Ride to Tagalalang and it s also easy to go to ubud Center, by scooter. But in my opinion you need a scooter... Thx for Service and a perfekt Start in my bali Trip!!!!!

This place is one of a kind. A true homestay. After escaping Ubud for it's hectic, Abimana was exactly what I needed. Wauw...the family and staff is super warm and friendly. The food js one of the best I've had so far in Indonesia. The room is insane big, clean, and with a lot of privacy. The surroundings are beautiful, if you want you can also rent a scooter. Truly a place to call "home"!

AustraliaLocation is a bit further away from the centre of Ubud, but they are very helpful in organising transport to get you from the stay to other places in Ubud.
Amazing hospitality. Jafar and his family took great care of us, with warmth and comfort. Rooms were in great condition, and Jafar was able to help out with any requests or questions. He was very accomodating in providing transport facilities to and from the centre of Ubud. The food at their restaurant in the stay is also exceptional, as the home cooked meals felt like they were served with great flavour and love. We are so grateful to have stayed at Abimana.
