Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe hotel’s restaurant does not have the biggest menu for breakfast. We paid for breakfast included with our stay, but once we saw the menu we never ate at the hotel restaurant because it was so limited.
It has a very private feel to the resort, but still very close to the main road in Ubud. It was wonderful staying here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean.

SwitzerlandThe breakfast is at a restaurant next to hotel. They give you a card with menu, which is rather supper than breakfast. When we aksed if we can take inly eggs and no noodls and chicken, they said nope 🤷♀️😄 which is kind of shame and food-waste.
Very central. Super friendly staff, clean

Everything! The hotel is placed right in Ubud, close to everything, but still quiet. Our room, placed on the basement floor, has a big and lovely terrace right in the forest. The rooms are big, the bed is enormous and very comfortable. The restaurant is amazing, also the personnel- very polite and helpful. Don’t forget about the pools and the area around them, so nice!

FranceNot enough choice for breakfast for me (I don't have rice or noodles or sausages for breakfast), though I assume that if I had asked for options not on the card, they might have tried to accommodate at best. Next time, I'll ask....
We were lucky to be upgraded as we arrived. Great room and great terrace looking over the garden and swimming-pools. Lovely and very helpful staff. Very easy to plan an excursion through them and the driver they found us was really great. Not right in Ubud's center but very close, and therefore away from the main street(s) traffic, be it from cars, motorbikes and the hords of tourists.

United KingdomI gave this a 7 as - Compared to some other hotels we stayed in for a similar price it made the value for money not seem as great at this hotel. Usually I'd overlook the following but purely because of the value for money... - A couple of mess ups with our booking in the spa and other reservations which was a little annoying as it threw our plans out the window - Better spa's in Ubud outside of the hotel at a lower price - The cocktail, food & drinks around the pool area weren't great - Ran out of the breakfast option I wanted on a couple of occasions
We had a suite and the room was nice and big and looked out onto the rainforest, which was really nice to chill and read a book on in the late afternoon. The bed was very comfortable. The entire hotel, including the pool areas are nice and quiet considering how centrally the hotel is located. The breakfast is in a nice restaurant that has an extensive menu. The area to do yoga is lovely and peaceful, and the class was good. The location is great - off a side street in central Ubud and you can avoid the main road which is total chaos. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and generally a 20 min walk to the otherside of Ubud where there are some really nice restaurants and yoga studios, which isn't far at all.

AustraliaI found it frustrating that I kept getting charged extra for asking for oat milk in my coffee. Surely when you are paying several hundred dollars per night, a splash of oat milk for someone intolerant to dairy should be included, especially as my daughter did not eat the included breakfast. And the same with the croissants - you had to pay extra if you wanted a chocolate one rather than a plain one. It is details like this that made it a good experience rather than a great one.
We received an upgrade to a suite which gave us more room which was appreciated. All the staff were very lovely and accommodating. The location is excellent - an easy 10 min walk into a nice part of Ubud away from the craziness.

AustraliaThere was nothing we did not like! except to stay longer
We loved the gardens the pool areas, the lovely staff who go out of their way to assist and advise with every question or need. the rooms are comfortable spotless and very generous. We used the great cafe/restaurant for most meals, although we were surrounded by many cafes close by. The hotel is very central and an easy walk to the main street of Ubud but in a quiet lane. The hotel organised a day trip to the Ubud swings and to a waterfall which was great. And we downloaded the App Voicemap and did a self guided Audio Tour of the Campuhuh Ridge which is close which we loved. Will definitely stay again, highly recommend.

United StatesThe resort is beautiful! Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here while visiting Ubud! The breakfast options included in the stay are delicious and available all day long. There was live music in the evenings and the location is perfect for seeing Ubud.

South AfricaThe pools and area look bigger than they are, but we were so busy we didn’t have much time to relax at the pool.
The rooms are really spacious and well equipped, with a nice sized patio. The beds are so comfortable and we slept like Kings. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and general food at the hotel’s Herblibrary are plentiful, healthy and delicious.

Saudi ArabiaEverything was good. Only thing we could request is the room tariff could be slightly low,
Adiwana breakfast is fantastic and usually comes with the room package. The staff at the hotel & the restaurant are always there to help and ever smiling. The property is in the heart of Ubud but has a backdrop of trees and gives a feeling that you are staying close to a jungle. Please be aware that the property has lot of stairs and people with wheelchair or issues with walking should send a special request for the rooms at the ground level.

AustraliaNot the hotels fault at all but it’s please be conscious to leave plenty of additional time for yourself to get places in and around Ubud during peak times. Traffic can get thick making what should be a short journey quite long. To combat this the hotel does have a restaurant and great facilities so you could really just stay on the property!
Adiwana Resorr is a serene oasis in a great part of Ubud. The location was great as it wasn’t too far from the main strip with its plentiful dinner/food options. There are so many inclusions that we got, such as breakfast and afternoon and also lots of additions to make your stay extra special. The standout aspect of our stay was the staff! It was a 24 hour front desk and that was helpful for us on a couple of occasions. The staff were truly so kind, genuine and honest. It was a great touch to our stay.

IrelandThe hotel’s locating is perfect for exploring Ubud, but yet feels like you are tucked away in the tranquility of the rainforest. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food in the restaurant was so delicious and catered for food allergies. Nice pool area and always loungers available. Love our stay here.
