Absolutely beautiful family run business of the highest quality. Great location, central to all the key Ubud attractions while on a quiet side street.

The neighbours rooster was a little bit annoying 😂 but as early risers it was fine.

We loved our stay at Arumasta. It was welcoming, super clean, lovely cool pool, the loveliest staff and such good value. Loved it was in a family compound and they had the most beautiful baby who was the sweetest 🌸 We had 4 rooms poolside and they had great aircon and ammenities. Great location, easy walks to the Palace and down to the Monkey Forest area. We will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends and family.

Shower could do with an upgrade

Property located at the back of a charming family home, just off one of the main streets. Really convenient location, about 20 min walk to Ubud Palace and great restaurants all around. They also do a reasonably priced Scooter rentals and there are laundromats on the same street. Room is comfortable and lovely pool for a swim after a hot day! For the price, you really can’t ask for much more!

The property felt a bit closed in, very small, very little privacy. The tiny pool was very shallow at both ends. There wasn’t much space to relax & lounge around. Only 2 sunlounges but no umbrellas for sunny days. There were bean bags but they are too difficult for older people. The sliding doors had big gaps for mosquitos to get through.

The staff were very kind. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent. The staff member Renita was exceptional.

The breakfast was bad, especially the coffee. I would recommend getting breakfast from some of the nearby cafes instead.

The location was amazing. Very close to shops and restaurants. But at the same time it was very nice and quiet. The room was very pretty and the pool was nice.

Great room and amenities. Ice cold air conditioning! Staff and family super friendly and helpful. We had a terrace room so it felt like a private villa with the pool a few steps away. Awesome breakfast and proximity to main streets. Absolute gem of a homestay/hotel. Highly recommend.

A dog barked a lot during the nights…

Super friendly staff. We came too early, so our room was not ready but they cleaned it at first so we could go in earlier than we had planned. Excellent location between the monkey forest and the streets with all the shops and restaurants. They are a lot of breakfast possibilities around the accommodation. Great hotel! We would go there again if we ever come again to Ubud!

It was a ceremony near that area which was a bit noisy but was only the last night.

The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were so clean I think it's a new family business. They made everything clean and in good condition. We enjoyed.

No Issues

I contacted the owner before they stay and asked about carparking, they informed me that they would save a spot for me. Upon arrival I found there was only the one spot which the lovely owner had saved for us to use, the accommodation was better than we had hoped for, it was great with all the amenities that you would want (eg fridge, pool etc). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, pointing us in the right direction for food and sights. We booked this the day before so very last minute and got a great deal. Would certainly come back again, thank you for having us

It was a lovely stay in the back garden of the family property. The mini temple is gorgeous and the place is very pretty. Tiles trees the small pool and the colour schemes were really pleasing and relxaxing. Sunset over the roofs of Ubud and a gorgeous Owl leaving just by my room.
