How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The beds are super uncomfortable, my back was so sore after 8 nights, maybe getting some softer mattresses would be great, my stay would have been 10/10 if the bed was comfortable
Pools amazing, breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning with a great range of food and drink, location is perfect. Will be back, Aircon in the room was amazing.

Breakfast wasn’t included in the price. The people who hang around the front gate and try to push drugs and scooter every time we walk past is very annoying

A little bit noisy at times but apart from that it was perfect. Staff were lovely, Price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family

Shinny, slippery tiles in the pool access rooms. That just would not cut it for safety reasons here in Australia. And I was a perfect example of why.
This was our 3rd stay here. Always with a pool access room. Totally happy, although at our 2nd stay I slipped on the shiny room tiles, broke my shoulder bone and had 10 stitches in my eye. Not their fault but now we ask for extra towels for the floor. Although my partner would say otherwise, I am perfectly happy with the breakfast selections. And all the staff cannot be faulted. So friendly.. and happy. Perfect location, local to restaurants and night life, if that's your thing. However, be warned, I'd say it's not a family hotel (under 18). There is a LOT of (bogans, sorry, couldn't think of a better word) who sit at the pool bar ALL day.. and some don't even seem to leave for toilet breaks.. js. So it can get a little roudy and at times a little inappropriate. Yes, my partner and I are in our 50's but we also enjoy a good time amd are open minded. We saw it as drinks with a show.. from the safety of our balcony 😜🤣

The boombox at the pool bar was way too loud at times. A well thought out sound system would benefit the fantastic pool vibe without impacting residents not participating outdoors.

Bathroom was too tight, door hits basin and toilet. Staff were not helpful, cost for airport pick up was $25AUD when we got it for $5AUD, motorbike and tours were too expensive, got 50% cheaper on street

The beds were most uncomfortable. The aircon was not that cold. The breakfast was boring, not a great variety! Other wise very happy will definitely stay there again!

The only thing I feel needs to be attended to quickly is the room billing from swim up bar. I paid my bill night before, woke up to check out next day and a group of people had built my room tab. Unfortunately it is easy to do, I feel a water proof wrist band or a signed bill each transaction needs to be arranged

The noise at the large pool bar Requested rooms away from it but not available Paid for superior but would have had to downgrade for same price. The back pool also had music and a lot of noise

Bathroom smelt in our room. Recommend they put some cleaner through the drain. Could have a few more shade umbrellas in the lagoon pool area.
Great location, 5 min walk to beach and shopping centre (when you go the right way). Two very nice pools with swim up bars. Good breakfast. Overall, reasonable value for money and would stay there again.
