The room needs maintenance. The floor is quite dirty and smelly. The bedsheets have dark spots—having a small spot is okay, but there are too many. The TV doesn’t have a connection, and the room doesn’t include enough electrical outlets to even plug in my water kettle. Hehe. In the bathroom, there isn’t a bathroom mat, so we had to use a hand towel as a substitute. At night, it was difficult to sleep because of a very noisy motorcycle; the sound was loud enough to disturb our sleep. Maybe the room needs better soundproofing. As a local with experience staying at other villas in Bali, this villa is great, but you might find others that are more worth the money. Keep upgrading!

At first, we came to Amed for a snorkeling trip, but the weather wasn’t good at the time, so we decided to stay in our room until checkout. As a local, I had high expectations when we arrived. The villa is very close to the beach and its snorkeling spot, as well as restaurants, diving centers, and has a nice receptionist.

The beds were so hard no give at all. Towels are old and smell our bed sheets had not been changed from the last person as there was hair in the bed and stains.

Its was beachfront and close to some great rest and cafe not far from sunset point. We stayed in room 3 downstairs its the best room.

If you did not ask the staff nothing would get done. Like no cleaning of the room. No clean towels etc. you should not have to ask for this. I believe this should be done daily.

They don't even rent snorkeling gears. You have to go neighbor to rent gears. That is quite disappointment.

I don't know why other reviews are so low. But this is why we could book and stay at this place with so reasonable price. Even if no breakfast included, there is most poplar cafe in front of hotel which provide good coffee and cake/breakfast. So actually we appreciated it is not included, indeed. And location is superb. just front of big ocean. You can view beautiful Agun-mountain from balcony. You can enjoy snorkeling just front of your room!

The air conditioners in both our rooms were very noisy and leaking. The towels in one of the rooms were stinky.

Simple accomodation in central Amed. Nothing fancy but it has a nice pool to relax in the morning if you don't dive. I booked the rooms upstairs which was spacious and with a nice view. I think it was upgraded from the hotel, thank you.

A fridge in the room would have been good. Also something in the bathroom to put things on, a small cabinet or a shelf. The bathroom sometimes smelt a bit odd but after use it was ok, and I think that plumbing issues are common in Bali. It did not impact on my stay at all.

The room was lovely with a nice view of the ocean. Fantastic location with great snorkeling in front of the hotel. I saw reef sharks, turtles and a load of other species. Great place to watch the sunset behind the mountain. Beds were comfortable and aircon worked well. Close to Rimba cafe which has great food. Nice and quiet.

Bathroom smelled. Shared balcony so the other room could look in easily. The balcony door does not go fully to the ground so you can easily hear kids playing by the pool or if your neighbors are on the balcony besides or under you

The two balcony rooms on the second floor share a balcony with a view into each others bedrooms from the balcony. A simple solution is to build a simple wall for privacy. Or if the thought process is that it is like that for couples or family members, living next to each other and want to share the space. Put a roll down partition in place, which could then be secured in place to allow for privacy.

Our room was full of mosquitoes, making it very difficult to sleep at night. We had to cover our ears with the blanket. Unfortunately there was also a problem with the bathroom, and the smell was atrocious. To be fair, the hotel did warn us about this before we arrived. Breakfast could’ve been better for the money.

The view and location are amazing, and the room was really big! It felt peaceful and private.

Was a really bad smell in first room from the drains, so moved to an upstairs room which was fine.

The location is great - right on the beach and with views of Mount Agung. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby too - (Rimba is great). The pool area is nice and rooms are comfy and spacious. Staff are very friendly.

the color of bed sheet is GREY. litterally GREY, like ASH. ASH GREY, its clean, but really GREY. after 3hrs long trip from denpasar, all we need is WHITE CLEAN Sheet, is that really to much to ask for? and the bonus is, the smell of the toilet is SUCKS. like someone just pee all over it, maybe they need to bleach all around corner. honestly i felt bad to leave this comment bcs the beachfront view is breathtaking, but, the truth is, the toilet smell is breathtaking also 😑😑😑
