The personnel of the Fortuna Grande is outstandingly friendly! Elda and Lisna were very helpful and went out of their way to provide us with informations we needed for our onwards travels. Zulaikhah and her crew at the breakfast were also always caring.

No hand towels, AC was leaking in the room. Lady morning reception who answered my call was cold.

The security at the front, was helpful and pleasant to assist, named Taufiq. Another one who helped me on my check out date as well. Trainee of reception was decent, even he did a small mistake but I was totally ok. He didn't informed me when the room was ready, as he mentioned this before by kept my number. Lady Trainee in evening shift was fabolous, she was great by answering my inquiries and handles the check in for other guest very well. Room was clean, tidy. Close to malioboro area, walk for 3 minutes only. Plenty choices of foods stall, attractions and easy to go anywhere around the city.

Really, there's only one thing... all rooms must have a bar fridge.

This was our second stay at Fortuna Grande, which really says it all. The staff were exceptional. Cleaning was impeccable. The rooms were large enough and comfortable, and the location was central to Maliboro.

The room was large, yet didn’t have space to hang many clothes. There was not closet so I needed to live out of my suitcase

Bathroom was old.

The staff were absolutely nice, educated and attentive with me. They helped me to arrange a tour to Borobudur and Prambanan, as well as tic-tuc to the train station on my way to Bromo. The room was ok even though I think it was over-priced for the location. It is not a 4 star-hotel although it is for the place. Happy I did not book a hotel in Malioboro, insane how crowded it was.

For me personally, it was too family/ kids oriented, but as a parent it will probably be a big plus!

Wi-fi was not reliable. Disconnecting every 1,5 minutes, very unpleasant experience, especially when you need to make some payments, buy tickets, call you family and you just can not.

The location. I also want to credit the front desk staff who helped me to get some cash. My bad hat I didn't bring any cash before departure, since I really on cashless payment. That day I needed cash for a becak ride to the station.

The bed sheets were unclean, so we asked house keeping staff to change them before we went to bed. However the staff was very friendly. The parking lot is so limited.

Noisy from the room next door as thin walls Breakfast was varied but if vegetarian then limited options - they have egg station and salad bar which was good but the fruits like watermelon had bugs sat on them :(

They upgraded our room so the new room was spacious and had window. Shower was good, lukewarm at times. Location is really good, very clean hotel. Staff very friendly

Some furnitures and carpet could be updated. Pool area could be done with more adult resting canopies instead of kids staff which wasn’t used at all ( at least we didn’t see anyone using them and there was a lot of kids tables or staff), the bar should be better stocked with beer which run out one evening and only one alcoholic drink left. I know it’s muslim country but it’s hotel so it could be helpful if you had stock of beers

The bathroom were good but we can expect some small adjustment to make them more confortable.

The hotel is very nice. It is new and the room are clean and big enough. The staff of the hotel are very kind and they are welcome to help you in any situation. The breakfast of the hotel is amazing, you have almost everything you can desire. The location of the hotel is perfect, just few meter from the main street.

The linens seemed old with stains, the bathroom compared to other hotels in Indonesia was neglected, no mini refrigerator (we changed our room in order to have one, with extra charge of course, although we have booked the deluxe one). Generally the rooms compared to the first impression you get in the lobby, were below expectations.
