Lovely play to stay, we enjoyed our room so much, very big and comfortable, super clean. The environment of the hotel is beautiful as well, staff is great, food is really good as well, we had massages, attended meditation, all those activities were high quality.

The view from our room and the restaurant & swimming pool, overlooking the forest and Mount Agung, was wonderful. We loved listening to the sounds of nature. We felt truly warmly welcomed by the amazing staffs there. The view from the cottage was incredible!!! Room was super clean and comfortable, everything was modern and well maintained. Wifi was also super fast! Everything was perfect.

Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort is a great pick for any visitors of Nusa Penida. It’s right in the middle of the island, making it a great base for trips out to the west side and the east side. If you’re going to Nusa Penida for diving, their dive shop is great. We went diving with them in Manta Reef and also in Crystal Bay, and both were excellent dives. The property has stunning views, spacious rooms, gorgeous showers, and an eco-friendly approach. The staff was wonderful (special shoutout to Sudiana and Peni, for making sure we have an amazing stay). The on-site restaurant also has delicious and healthy food options . Overall, our stay at Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort was relaxing, enjoyable, and exceeded expectations.

Unfortunately some dishes were not so good in The terrace. It would like to season the food more. another thing is the prices for transportation around the island, for transportation 15-20 minutes from the accommodation and back 500k idr is an awful lot compared to the whole of Bali. even when compared to how much is paid on Penida for full-day trips to the east and west.

Really nice new property in Penida with really kind staff. Offering yoga, diving, trips around island and many others. Also has a christmas program for us. :) The owners of the property are also very nice and always made sure that your stay was pleasant.

Deep Roots exceeded my expectations! I have chosen this option because of the Dive Center but the resort offers way more than that! The rooms are beautiful and big, the property is gorgeous, great food and so kind and helpful staff! Thanks Sudiana for having received us so gently and for being so supportive!

Tiny bit out of the town so would have to get a lift somewhere as the roads are a bit narrow to walk on.

Beautiful resort, unbelievable friendly and attentive staff who were very welcoming. Little touches that were so sweet like turn down service with a little treat and bed time story. Delicious food and drink. Personalised greeting by the staff and manager and wonderful owners. Comfortable bed with air conditioning. Spacious rooms, fantastic yoga session. They provide activity tours also. A little bit out from walkable food and drink but they are happy to organise a taxi for you. They even did takeaway breakfasts for us. Really wonderful, relaxing, friendly, beautiful resort we did not want to leave.

There are a lot of mosquitos outside and there were a lot of tiny ants inside both the bedroom and bathroom. I feel the photos make the place look a little more luxurious than it is, and whilst it's a pretty place, I think you really need to like the hippie/yoga vibe to fully enjoy your stay here. The food wasn't great, everything kind of tasted the same and was bland.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, very lovely to deal with. I had a medical situation and they drove us to the emergency room for free and were incredibly accommodating. The place is cute and it's away from all the hustle and bustle of the main streets which is a welcome break after arriving at the busy port. The beds are comfortable and the area is quiet, and the view through the jungle to the sea is beautiful.

That's just a small thing. However, breakfast sometimes took a long time. One day we had a lot planned and had to wait 40 minutes for breakfast, even though we were the only ones there.

We spent 5 nights at Deep Roots and would have liked to have stayed a few more nights. This was by far the best accommodation on our Bali trip. The small villas are very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom in particular is fantastic and looks even better in real life than in the pictures. We were particularly impressed by the view we had from the terrace, although we had booked garden view, we could see the sea. The staff was always extremely friendly and courteous. Our highlight was the diving course with Beth. Although I had a lot of respect for it, thanks to Beth it felt like the most normal thing in the world and like going diving with a friend. We can only warmly recommend Deep Roots and the diving school.

Amazing stay! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. You feel relaxed at the moment you enter. The soap, shampoo and body lotion were nice with perfect smell. Swimming pool amazing with the perfect view on the Agung volcano. We had couple dives with the dive center in the hotel. All divemasters professional! Best experience, maximum service. Arranged everything for us. Also we were pleasely surprised that all the staff knows our names and always asked if we slept well and enjoyed every activity. Attention to small details makes the service on the high level. Breakfast was very nice.

Only small note would be reconsider your shuttle and yoga class pricing. These amenities should be included in the experience.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The staff are all incredible. They are attentive and lovely and help in any way they can. The location is beautiful and all the facilities are stunning, new and clean. The room is huge with so many extra amenities. They give you complimentary fresh fruit, a Bluetooth speaker and really great coffee and tea in the room. The TV is smart which is a great bonus. The food is excellent, the menu is small but we loved everything we ordered. It is a really special place to stay, they make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I would stay here forever if I could.
