Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. BelgiumOur only complaint, which we also told the staff about are the roosters & chickens close to the premises which wake you up around 4am :( so getting proper sleep was rather impossible during the stay.
Amazing food, especially breakfast which was included and location, which was away from the busy Ubud areas!

AustraliaBeautiful oasis in busy Ubud. The hotel was beautiful. Big gorgeous room with a balcony and extra large bath, marble shower with great pressure. Quiet peaceful and green outdoor areas and pool. We loved the breakfast, and enjoyed massages at the spa- the therapists were excellent. Staff were very attentive and happy to help us with whatever we needed.

AustraliaI wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend based purely on its location. It’s too far away from the main area and there is not much around the hotel (other restaurants or shops). The hotel only offers two shuttles per day which means if you don’t want to stay out for 6 hours you either have a long, hot walk back to the hotel or need to use a taxi. If you stay I recommend downloading Gojek as you can top up at Indomaret’s, saving having to provide your bank details.
This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, set amongst a tropical paradise. The food at the restaurant is tasty and good value and includes a good breakfast, although I wished they had more Indonesian options on their menu. Who wants to go all the way to Bali to eat food you can get at home?? Best of all about this hotel are the staff - they go out of their way to ensure you feel welcomed and have everything you need.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms very spacious. The staff were simply amazing. They could not do enough for you. We left our laptop in the restaurant and that staff handed it back to us! Very honest of the staff. The breakfast was more the adequate. We attended the spa and it was amazing. The Wifi was very good. We would stay here again. Highly recommended.

NetherlandsNearest Circle K or 7-11 were almost 1 kilometer away. The chairs by our private swimming pool were a bit dirty but we could remediate this with the swimming pool towels.
We got a free upgrade to a villa with swimming pool. Restaurant had good food and breakfast was also good. Location was good but you have to use a taxi or grab app (very happy to use grab app to move from a to b). People of the hotel were nice and friendly. Using WhatsApp to communicate with the hotel staff was great with quick responses. We recommend this hotel.

AustraliaThere was quite a lot of noise bleed from upstairs due to the open-air bathroom area, so if you had the bathroom door open, you could hear it in the room too. Nitpicky but not insignificant. Would've preferred to be away from that noise.
Food was incredible, dinners a bit pricey but that's fine because we ate at local restaurants anyway. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Location was great, far enough from busy Ubud centre but close enough to walk. Staff were lovely.

VietnamI like everything about the property, great room size and decoration, beautiful public area with great care. Staffs are very friendly and with professional customer-service. It's a good location, about 2.5km away from downtown but so easy to grab a Grab bike which cost around just $1/way.

IndonesiaThe floor in the room and bathroom was a little dusty and we'd love if the room were a little scented with something nice upon arrival.
Great staff, they greeted us warmly, the room was spacious and the TV had streaming platforms like Netflix. We had to leave for an event very early in the morning, they gladly helped us check out at 3 AM. Before leaving the hotel, they also checked the room before we left and I surprisingly had left a teddy bear which they gladly gave us back!

SwitzerlandDinara is an amazing, nice and quiet boutique hotel just outside Ubud. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and did their best to make you feel at home and receive a personalized service. The hotel is not that big, which was nice as it was always pretty calm and quiet. The food was also really good - the restaurant had a great selection and mix of European/Balinese food, and the breakfast was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend Dinara Ubud, we had the most wonderful 4 night stay and would have happily of stayed longer! The staff were wonderful, very attentive, the hotel manager checked in with us a few times to ask about our stay, recommended places to visit I.e waterfalls. The breakfast that is included was exceptional in the joint restaurant next door. Lovely calm ambience, wonderful friendly staff. We actually ate here most nights as well as the food was incredible. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Spa facilities were great, equally there is a nice little spa 1 minute walk away too, we tried both and were all excellent. We hired a moped from a place the hotel recommended to get us from a to b (5 minute walk away) again very friendly helpful man. Location I think is excellent as it’s slightly out of Ubud centre which is a good thing, takes a 5 minute bike ride, little longer walk or use the hotels shuttle bus to get you too and from the centre of ubud. Ubud centre was fab but we were always pleased to be back at our dinara stay. Lots of nice little cafes and restaurants around walking distance anyway. One last amazing addition that I didn’t realise until we checked in, was the hotel does a complimentary afternoon tea at 4pm. Nice little treat after a busy day exploring or afternoon round the pool. We will be returning as soon as we can!
