Very comfortable and clean room with fantastic terrace and pool view, well maintained pool and property grounds in general, helpful and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast, great location in Ubud close to everything you need. I would 100% recommend and stay again if I ever come back to Ubud.

This is so far the best homestay I have stayed in. The cleanliness was impeccable and the room was serviced everyday. The team was really friendly and made yummy breakfast every morning. The best thing is the greenery and the nature surrounding our terrace, the sounds of nature were like lullaby. Thank you Gek House for an amazing stay!!

A beautiful little spot down a quiet lane. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The staff were so kind and the breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed the pool aswell, which is kept nice and clean and is a perfect treat after a long hot day in Ubud. Just be aware that Ubud is a village surrounded by jungle so there are the occasional insect around but the staff do a great job to keep them away as much as possible ☺️ Overall we loved our stay here and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ubud.

theres nothing really i want to mention but if i have to say something, the shower was almost impossible to use without wetting the floor of the bathroom. well we managed to prevent it and they gave us extra towels when we needed , so not a big deal. they have flpflops you can wear inside too. the grab can not reach front of the place, you have to walk just a bit to the point. It was an amazing stay and I am very happy that we have stayed here in Ubud. It is a small place that only has 4 rooms? in the property. they have secret-garden vibe. you will love it. the pool is nicely deep, they have floating breakfast it only costs additional of 80,000rp. quite and hidden but close enough to everything. the owner and the staff was super nice, when I booked the floating breakfast at 9AM, they woke us up at 8:45 so we took about 15 min to get ready and went downtairs, then We realized that guy was holding the float for 15min for us so the breakfast didnt float away. the breakfast is yummy you should try their banana pancake >< the room was spotless and he even made towels/toiletpapers fancy. We truly felt welcomed and had a wonderful stay. thank you so much for everything! they have free water btw

Bathroom had slight smell

Room was great, bed was big and comfy. Big balcony area with seating where you can eat breakfast. Breakfast was great. Pool was lovely and there was a small gym area. Location was fab, on quiet road but close to main road with restaurants. To top it off Gek and the staff were so lovely, always around to help and they cleaned our room each day which was much appreciated.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Just spent five nights at this lovely little guest house in Ubud. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, it is an oasis of peace and calm. Spacious clean rooms, wonderful service from Wayan and a lovely cooling pool for a dip when it gets too hot. Breakfast served on your terrace every morning at a time of your choice (the freshly cooked omelette is highly recommended) by happy smiling staff. A 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud but if you don’t feel like going that far there is everything you need (spas, restaurants and shops) within 2 mins. Loved it. Will be back again.

the setting was absolutely stunning, don't think thr pictures do it justice, feels like you're in the jungle. The staff couldn't be nicer and more kind, gave us recommendations when we asked and were just so pleasant. Is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Ubus but theres loads of lovely restaurants and cafes right beside it

Perfect sanctuary in central Ubud. Fabulous property close enough to centre of Ubud but far enough away from the noise and hustle! Beautiful room with balcony and large outdoor seating area, surrounded by nature! Breakfast served on the terrace at your leisure. The pool is a blessing after hot days in the central area - an oasis! Wayan was so kind and helpful, I absolutely recommend staying here.

It's tucked away in a small alley where most cars cannot go/hesitate to drop you off. Good luck if you have luggage... our tour leader for the day couldn't find us for a whole 30 mins and the owners were somewhat helpful but initially gave the wrong location to our driver who is Balinese and understands the language. They kind of left us hanging in the alley.

Truly wonderful accommodation with incredibly friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent—you can request in advance what you’d like to eat and at what time, and it’s brought to your room, so you can enjoy it peacefully on your own terrace. The location is close enough to walk to the center, and there’s a street full of various local spots, bars, and restaurants right nearby, yet it’s still far enough away to be quiet at night. I’d also like to highlight that my wife really appreciated the weights available by the pool. Highly recommended.

This accommodation is away from the noise of the surroundings, only religious ceremonies can be heard occasionally. It is accommodation that will be appreciated by people who like nature, you are surrounded by a small jungle and everything that belongs to it. The banana pancake breakfast was great as was the breakfast view from the room terrace of the butterflies, birds and life in this little jungle.You can walk to the monkey forest in 20 minutes. This made this stay in Europe unforgettable for me. Thank you

The view, staff and POOL! Gek House sits on a very green and colorful jungle and stream where rooms look over a lovely pool with a fountain. Beautiful. And a good breakfast is served on your porch!
