The kitchen. Maybe because of how minimal they wanted the kitchen design to be, there were a lot of things missing i.e. cleaning utensils and all. For a place that makes cooking available, the cleaning portion of it can be a bit tough for guests.

We loved that Grun was in a quiet little nook of Ubud despite its quite central location. Most things about the property were great.

Property located in the heart of Ubud in a very quiet street so you have the advantage to be in the middle of the rice fields and near the center . Room is gorgeous and bed very comfortable . Staff are very kind and helpful .

Our stay at this villa was simply outstanding! My partner and I absolutely loved everything about it. The treehouse was a dream come true—such a unique and enchanting experience. The attention to detail was truly appreciated, from the beautiful decor to the little touches that made our stay extra special. The staff were incredible, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The tranquil location provided the perfect escape, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy our time together. We can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to come back!

We were fortunate to find this hidden gem in Ubud. The room is spacious with complete amenities. The sofa and the bed are comfy. We had good sleep and wake up sorrounded by nature. The only suggestion we would like to say is extend check out time from 11 am to 12 pm likes other accomodations.

Unfortunately it was very hard to find as there is no sign and the number provided connects you to Grün Uluwatu, not Ubud.

The overall attention to details and the sensitive architecture makes it a great destination for design lovers. Also, despite the location being quite central in Ubud, the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. It was truly a haven of peace... we wished the house was available for a longer period, so we could just enjoy it more.

The room was fairly clean, though there were some issues. The bed was a bit firm, and the air conditioner leaked throughout our 2-day stay, even waking us up at night with the sound of dripping water. Finding the property was also quite challenging. It’s in an inconspicuous location, and only the staff can show you the way—it’s impossible to figure it out on your own. Additionally, no directions or instructions were provided at the time of booking, which was highly inconvenient. We had to wait for the staff to meet us and guide us to our room, which took some time and was frustrating as we were already quite tired. Another downside is the limited availability of staff—they are only present from morning till afternoon. We ran out of drinking water late at the evening, and with no open stores nearby and no staff to assist, we were unable to resolve the issue, which left a sour note on our stay. That said, the room itself is cozy and ideal for a couple of days. While there are several drawbacks, the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views might make it worth considering for a short visit.

Overall, staying here is a good choice for a short getaway. The wide panoramic windows offer stunning views of lush rice fields, allowing you to wake up and fall asleep surrounded by greenery. It’s a serene experience that makes you feel close to nature. The interior is charming, with wooden elements and natural tones that complement the view perfectly.

It’s looks better in the pictures , the room is pretty small, so if you are planning to stay, is only for sleeping, advise you to stay in a different place is only one bed and the view is a normal view, doesn’t worth it for the price, you can find something more cozy and I live in Bali 8 years. No worth it at all. Location perfect. 1 staff. 2 ⭐️ ⭐️🫤
