MalaysiaThere are some scale marks from the hard water. Not much toiletries - only provide toothbrush and a small bar soap for the sink. No shower cap. There was a notice to conserve, but although we hang our towels it was changed everyday. Not much to offer for breakfast.
The room is clean and new. The staff were friendly. I liked the in-room massage that was offered.

Singapore1. In one of our rooms on the 3rd floor the sofa was found with a torn surface. 2. The room's telephone jack wasn't working when my family checked in on our first day. 3. On our last evening of our stay before we checked out, the floor trap of my room's shower stall was choked therefore water was stagnant for quite a while until the water slowly flowed through the gulley. It caused a bit of flooding in the bathroom.
The hotel location is at Simpang Lima where there are at least two malls nearby and a variety of Indonesian food stalls that open in the evenings. This hotel does have a restaurant on the 3rd floor. We were pleased with the food taste from the hotel's restaurant. The aircon in our rooms are working well and there's plenty of plugging points in the room. Laundry service is reliable - we rang up for laundry pickup at 10pm and laundry completion is by the next day before 11pm. We did our laundry with the hotel for two days.

NetherlandsEverything is clean and friendly staff. Great location with food stalls and a Small department store nearby. On Sundays there's a car free section in front and around the hotel with festivities. No problem to reach the hotel by car though. There was also massage available.

Indonesiathey didnt use luggage tags on our stuffs, some of ours misplaced so they have to search all around first. since our family room just next to the restaurant its quite noisy, you could hear any kind of music that played in the restaurant.

But the most annoying thing is the constant badgering and messages from the hotel after booking. 3 messages through booking.com 2 emails and then WhatsApp messages. Total harassment and so for that reason I will never book an ibis hotel again

DenmarkThe cleanliness was sad. The towels we were given was so worn out, there was a day we were given a good towel only to be replaced with worn out to the bone again. What so annoying was the paper thin wall, there were basketball group across our room. we can hear them talking, playing, running and do all sorts of things from morning when they woke up until afternoon and evening. I mean late evening. These children were so LOUD!!! They even run around the hall. I cant sleep! The breakfast was also tedious with no coherent in the menu. everything heavy.
I like the location. it is superb, right at the side of Simpang Lima Semarang!
