The chairs on the veranda of the ground floor rooms could be a little more comfortable.

We only stayed for two nights at the end of our trip to Bali but we enjoyed our stay. The location is good within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. If you’re happy to ride a scooter the location is even better. The room was clean and the garden of the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is decent and the pool is great. We booked a Balinese massage via the hotel which I can highly recommend. It was really really good. Also booked the airport transfer via the hotel which was really reliable. There is a little local street food place in short walking distance just up the road with only a couple of tables which we can highly recommend. The food was super delicious and cheap.

I loved everything

The property was beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. Everything appears to be very thought out from the interiors to the beautiful garden. The staff are also so friendly and very attentive. Also the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve had in Bali.

Superb little place to stay. Rooms and grounds are absolutely beautiful and staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble. I messed up my booking to arrive on the wrong date, but they were very kind and completely flexed the booking even though per booking.com it was not changeable. Great location close to restaurants, but quiet. I will definitely return.

Everything was very clean and cute. Stuff is nice, rooms are beautiful. The location just perfect, as I have stayed in a few spots in Ulu previously, this was just the right spot. The breakfast could be better, but in most places in Bali included breakfast is very basic, so no need to expect a full menu :) plenty of outside restaurants for mor demanding eaters :)

Lovely small boutique style accommodation in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, well kept gardens and lovely pool area to relax in this peaceful environment. The building work next door did not bother us and is restricted to 9-6 only.

While the property does its best to minimise the construction noise behind it, one can hear the workman during the hours of 9am to 6pm but not on Sunday while sitting at the pool. However, the rooms are insulated so one is minimised from this noise except when using one's own outdoor shower and toilet facilities. There is a lot of construction right now in Uluwatu and many areas of Bali as they expand to accommodate increasing numbers of tourists but more importantly, bring more work for the locals.

The location is simply outstanding with the property being only 10 minutes away from the main street which offers many restaurants, bars, massage venues, yoga studios, laundry, supermarkets and even a nightclub. The staff are truly attentive with particular mention to Fernando, Ayu and LaLa where they offer a WhatsApp group on check-in listing popular restaurants, bars and laundry addresses to save you time sorting out where to go. I particularly enjoyed the nature that the property is built around with roaming monkeys even appearing on my doorstep during my stay which truly allowed me to be immersed in the Bali wilderness. Even though you are off the main street, a Grab bike is easily accessible to take you to many locations around Uluwatu.

It's a little more expensive than what you can get else where but it is really nice so you pay for what you get. The bathrooms being outside can feel like people can see in due to construction happening across the road, but the owner said they had checked it all out and people can't see so it just feels that way.

This place is beautiful - a little oasis amongst everything else. Comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is nice and they have gluten free bread which is a huge bonus.

Amazing!! Staff was so nice and helpful, beautiful and clean rooms, beautiful space overall. So tropical and hidden resort, despite being so close to the city center. Breakfast was good. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at incense impossible! The location is great right next to the beach and all the amenities. The Vila’s are very spacious and impeccably clean and in very good condition. The garden area and pool super nice. Big highlight is having a great breakfast at the garden watching the monkeys go by :) Big thanks to the incense team for their hospitality and kindness!! And a muito obrigado to the owner “Carlos” for being an amazing host! :)
