While the villa is located away from Ubud’s busy areas, making for a peaceful retreat, accessing it during peak hours can be challenging if you rely on taxis. It’s only 10–15 minutes from the centre of Ubud under normal conditions, but during busy times, the journey can take 35 minutes or more. Of course, this isn’t the villa’s fault—just something to keep in mind when planning your travels.

Absolutely gorgeous! The villa features a stunning design with local elements, wooden accents, and beautiful art pieces. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, incorporating cultural touches throughout. The villa itself is breathtaking, but the hosts are truly the highlight—exceptionally warm, helpful, flexible, and always willing to go the extra mile. The space was impeccably clean, felt brand new, and was incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect, complete with a lovely mosquito net to ensure a great night's sleep. Everything was designed with relaxation and wellbeing in mind. The villa has lovely spaces, including a dining area, outdoor living room, and a gorgeous bathroom. Robes and slippers were provided. The property also includes a water dispenser with a gallon of water—an unexpected but highly appreciated and environmentally conscious touch. The breakfast was delicious every single time; the freshest fruit and amazing juice! Nyoman and his wife were absolutely amazing—warm, friendly, and professional, always available to assist with any needs. We would stay here again and again!

This was by far the best villa I’ve stayed in at Ubud. Norman the owner and his wife go out of their way to make sure you have the best relaxing holiday along with an amazing fresh breakfast and great pool. Location was excellent. I had the best time thank you ☺️

I feel incredibly fortunate to have met Nyoman and his wonderful family, who were truly the best hosts I could have ever imagined. The villa was exceptional, exceeding all my expectations. The traditional wooden architecture added a unique charm that made the stay truly memorable. The swimming pool was stunning, providing the perfect spot to relax. Situated just a short scooter ride from the hustle and bustle of Ubud center, the location was ideal—close enough to enjoy the action but peaceful enough to unwind. One thing to note is that the villa is about 15 minutes from central Ubud by scooter, which could be a plus or minus depending on what you’re looking for. If you enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this location is ideal. However, if you prefer to be in the heart of the action, keep in mind that it’s a short ride away.

The villa is stunning, with spacious, well-decorated room, the pool was fantastic! Place was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing all day long. What truly made our stay special was the owner. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from personalized recommendations to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for top-notch amenities and incredible hospitality, this villa is the perfect choice.

In my 44 years this is THE best accommodation Ive stayed at. Better than 5* hotel! Really really well designed and spacious villa. The service, the breakfast, the privacy, the pool. Just excellent. Every detail in design and construction just very well thought out and solid A bit outside Ubud center (15 min gojek ride). For a couple I can highly recommend

The villa was very clean, new and neat, it had all the facilities we needed during our stay. The owner of the villa is very welcoming, nice, helpful and easy to deal with. He offers transportation to ubud city center and any other touristic place for good prices. The breakfast they offer is delicious and clean. There is a good wifi connection and the swimming pool is clean The whole experience was beyond exceptional.

Everything here is beyond perfect

Ithaca is a beautifully well maintained and well thought out property. Everything there is beyond expected, the host is extremely knowledgeable and helps out with everything needed in and around. Pool is good sized, bathroom is spacious with high end equipment which is neat and classy. Would recommend this place to all those visiting Ubud, as you can hire a bike from the owner and enjoy Ubud at ease.

The villa was absolutely beautiful, extremely friendly and warm welcome staff, the private pool was very nice for relax. In addition, the property is away from the crowds but at the same time at and good distance by scooter from the busy center of Ubud where there is much to do. Highly recommended!
