It was a little far away and there were a lot of mosquitoes because of the area, but it can be said that we solved the problem with a lotion

The room was very clean, the most basic thing to consider in a hotel business was available ('normals' in Bali are a little different) and the Bed! It was incredibly cosy and smelled clean. You can use a small pool available. And it's so private, it was great

The location is a bit away from the main area, not necessarily a bad thing, but the final road is a dirt road, which is common in Gili T. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

Java Wood is incredibly good value for money. The staff is kind and very helpful. The private pool was excellent as was the room.

Everything from the beginning until the end. Service has been fantastic, we were able to check in early and we enjoy the private pool as much as possible. It made our stay very special. The room is very spacious and the decoration very well looked after. Best accommodation we had during our Bali trip for sure!

The walls between places are thin so you can hear the people next door, they were.not noisy and I travel with ear plugs so it was fine. Other than that everything was great.

The location was perfect, very quiet. The villa with the private pool is very nice and very clean. The staff is very kind, helpful and smiling. Regarding the comments about mosquitoes, yes there are some but you just have to use mosquito repellent and it's good!

The accommodation is absolutely amazing!!!🤍 If you go to Trawangan you definitely have to stay here. Everything is absolutely clean and fragrant. The private pool is something incredible🙏. The staff is very nice and always available😊. I have traveled a bit of the world and I really haven't seen such nice accommodation at a great price💯

Everything was really nice, exactly as on the pictures. Especially loved the little touches they have done (towels folded nicely, mosquito repellent scoils) Highly recommend, we only booked for one night, then we stayed for another one. Very nice and quiet, and amazing price for a private pool villa.

Aircon worked well although the doors/roof had spots where air could get out and insects could get in. Would recommend mosquito repellent when staying here. Also some roads are very dark when riding around at night so bring torch with you :)

We loved having a private pool, very large and comfortable bed and nice outdoor bathroom. Staff were helpful organising bikes for us to hire and we appreciated having pool towels in addition to bath towels to use. The wifi was strong.

Nothing I love everything

This property is so lovely the photos on here don’t do it justice! I came and checked in for 1 night to test it out and ended up staying over a week! It’s a real gem of a find in Gili T, quieter side of the island so you don’t hear noise at night and your own private villa with pool! And the BEDS ARE SO COMFY! Akbar the manager is lovely and so helpful with everything! I’ve stayed in a few places in Gili T and this is by far my favourite and best value for the price I really am shocked it’s so cheap!

Beautiful place, all made wood. Private swimming pool is little paradise in the middle of the island. You can access both sides of the island from there, port side or sunset spots. They provide bikes to rent and laundry if’s necessary. Very friendly and helpful staff. Totally worth!

The property was kind of far from everything, in the middle of the north part of the island, however this did have the advantage of being away from all the bar noise on Gili T. It’s a small island though so bring earplugs to avoid being awoken by the call to prayer :)

This is a gorgeous modern property. It is perfect for couples or a solo traveller who wants to treat themselves! Amazing little private pool and there is coffee and tea in the room as well. The bathroom is exposed to the outdoors but is still really nice and clean with a hot shower. You can rent a bike straight from the property for exploring the island. Akbar was a wonderful host who was very responsive to anything I needed!

The floor boards were a little unstable in the room which made walking awkward. Some people have mentioned that it’s out of the way, but it isn’t too much trouble to get around if you have a bike - which Akbar will organise for you. There’s nothing to dislike about Java Wood!

The bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ll sleep on in my life. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is small but well laid out and the semi outdoor shower is a treat during sunset. The private pool is a lovely addition. It’s well maintained and a nice way to cool off. It catches the afternoon sun so if you choose not to head out for the day you can still enjoy the weather from the villa. Akbar is a kind and hospitable owner. I was celebrating a birthday and upon entering the room I found balloons, banners, flowers and a lovely ‘happy birthday’ written in leaves on the bed. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile.
