Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsPlastic washing ashore is a huge problem in all of SE Asia, but I thought the beach could have been slightly better maintained. The rooms are slightly dated, but yet still very beautiful.
The staff are so helpful and accommodating. I had booked a room for the wrong evening and they were able to quickly adjust and get me checked in that same evening. The access to the beach is really nice

NetherlandsSome staff members were not very motivated nor interested in the guests. The location does not have good access to alternative restaurants or bars, but taxi is available.
The room size is good with some useful outdoor space and good access to the pool and beach. The outdoor shower is good. There is a nice breakfast menu

AustraliaThe resort is a bit behind on understanding special diets, food intolerances/allergies. We got a bluebird taxi to Senggigi and ate dinner out due to lack of vego/vegan options on the menu at the resort. Not the hotel’s fault but a gheko was living behind the headboard of the bed and kept us awake at night. There was a pile of gheko pooh on the floor under the bed. Sadly, the beach and ocean has a lot of plastic rubbish, similar to everywhere we visited in Indonesia. You will need earplugs to sleep through the 4:15am call to prayer.
We loved the pool villa, private garden area, bathroom. The resort is nicely laid out. The staff went out of their way to help. The breakfast was adequate but choices were limited due to food intolerances, which are not well catered for at this resort. However, Windri was so lovely and caring, she had special bread made that did not contain cows milk. Real and Dini were also very helpful. The room was sprayed for mosquitos every evening.

We have spent 4 great nights at this fabulous resort. The grounds and the view on the sea are breathtaking. We loved the way the villa's are arranged to have a clear sea view and keep a calm and serene atmosphere. The villa itself is luxurious with a beautiful bathroom with outdoor shower. The terras in front of the villa has 2 really comfy chairs and a daybed the size of a double bed. A great place to relax! We had 3 dinners at the resort and 1 dinner in the sister resort Jeeva Santai. All were very tasteful. We were happy though we didn't book at Jeeva Santai because we liked the lay-out of Jeeva Klui much better: more open and faced to the sea. We also booked 2 excursions: one cultural to visit the Sasak villages and 1 to go snorkeling at the Gili's. But here's the very best part of Jeeva Klui: the staff! All very welcoming, adressing you by your first name. And you can say that they have these names on their list, but our adult daughter was staying in a hotel nearby and had breakfast and dinner with us. They called her by her name as well :) And not only that, but they remember your preferences. An example: I ordered a white wine with ice on the side on the first day. Next day I forgot the ice but the staff didn't. It's those small gestures that go a long way. The staff creates a great atmosphere for a relaxing, luxurious time. Hospitality at it's best! We don't think we will return to Lombok since we prefer the Bali culture, but this hotel could be the only reason to visit Lombok again.

SingaporeWe fell in love with Jeeva Resort at first sight! My bestie and I had been looking forward to a beachfront getaway and the villa exceeded our expectations - privacy and tranquility at its finest. The staff at Waroeng were exceptional, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Highlights included a delightful dinner accompanied by live music on our second night and a generous breakfast spread with a vast menu selection. Special mention to Windri, Dini and April for their outstanding service. The entire team deserves praise! While the front desk could improve, our overall experience was fantastic. We hope to return to Jeeva Resort on our next visit to Lombok.

SingaporeThere are two things I think could be improved. (a) More umbrellas by the reclining chairs near the pool and beach. It was very sunny from mid-morning through mid-afternoon and shade was hard to find by the pool. (b) Hanging mosquito nets in front of the sliding glass room doors. There was always a nice breeze blowing and we would have liked to keep our door open more (rather than rely on A/C), but the lack of mosquito net meant we always had the door shut before dark.
The staff were excellent and deserve special comment -- everyone was super friendly and accommodating and made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The food was also very good quality and didn't feel the need to go outside to find dinner, although we did go down to Senggigi one evening, where there were other good restaurants. It was easy to get private-hire cars using Grab, which were very affordable. We left our kids at home for this trip and noticed that almost all the other guests were adult couples as well. We enjoyed the quietness of the pool and beach areas.

Germany- We booked a double bed suite and once we arrived, we were told that our room has two single beds and that it needs to be checked if they can be put together (apparently no other room was available). Even though we only stayed for 2 nights that was a big “no go” for us and we were happy that they managed to at least put the both single beds together - The room will definitely need a modernisation soon - Senggigi is a bit of a “ghost town”
+ very nice resort at private beach + very nice infinity pool + amazing food (higher priced but with a great view and ambiance) + Good gym + hotel staff is super friendly and great service + highly recommended if you only want to spend some calm days at the resort (not too much to do around senggigi)
