we stayed at Kampung Sari for two weeks and loved this comfortable accommodation and the welcoming and helpful family that operate it. Had only planned to stay one week as it was 30 minutes walk away from the course we were taking. But we didn’t want to leave as we enjoyed it so much and felt so cared for.

Calm backyard in the very vivacious centre of Ubud. Wulan and Agus are perfect hosts, helpful in every way. The rooms are perfectly equipped and spotless. Great shower. Fantastic breakfast. And I got a private tour of the family temples built by the family grandfather. Great value at a small price. Thank you very much for your hospitality. 🙏

When I arrived I was bit confused because I couldn’t see the homestay. it is set back off the road up a few steps.

I had a lovely warm welcome. My room was lovely and had a fantastic view. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Bed was nice and comfy. it was nice and quiet.

they don’t have fridge like the common hotels, but you still can use their common fridge.

This place is a gem. The family who own/run the homestay are lovely people. They could not be more welcoming. The rooms are fully remodeled and everything is clean and new. The property is very traditional and beautiful. And the hot water pressure!!! Probably the best in all of Bali.

One thing to note is that there are some big stairs from street level so take that into account if you have accessibility issues, but that is the only thing I can think of.

I loved everything about Kampung Sari Homestay and I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Ubud. The location is fantastic, super central in Ubud, so you can walk to everything. The property is beautiful and clean. But most importantly, the host family is truly lovely. They helped us with everything we needed, from sorting drivers and airport transfers, to recommending restaurants and activities. I also really appreciated them explaining the ceremonies that were happening on some of the days we stayed. They are so warm and welcoming, and I have already recommended them to my friends who are coming to Bali.

Very good location in the center of Ubud. The rooms and bathroom are clean an tidy. Breakfast with delicious banana pancacke and fresh fruit. Staff (Agus and his sister) very polite and helpful!

Just a FYI; be prepared for the stairs if you have lots of luggage.

The family were so welcoming and I felt like part of the family immediately. My room was clean and modern and smelt amazing. There was a jug of water in my room and a water refill tank available for guests. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The location was terrific, right next to Bisma st and a short walk to Ubud centre.
