IndonesiaSomehow the vibrant feels like the hotel quite old. Maybe some refurbishment would help to keep the legacy.
Its super king bed size and spacious room was amazing. The staffs at the front desk really helpfull. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Despite the location is not really at the downtown, it takes some advantages with ease to reach. The one thing I would always remember is the stunning diorama on the corridor towards the restaurant.

Great Room - spacious, comfortable and clean. A really impressive view from the window of my room meant that each day started off with a relaxed feeling and an expectation of great things. The bathroom was well set out and the desk and large screen TV made for all of the necessary items for a great stay.

AustraliaI don't mind that my room has a small fridge that is empty. But please, please, please, make sure that the fridge is turned on before I get to the room. That way - I can drink cold water and place my own soft drinks or fruit juices in the fridge. Everything else is fine. when I next return to Kimaya - I will again request that the fridge is turned on. It is important for international travelers.
Great location - perfect for access to Jogja central business and to UGM. The hotel is professional and well managed. The staff at the reception and concierge are attentive and are reliable.

SpainThe restaurant is a little expensive if you have lunch there (decent quality, though).
Really decent hotel which seems to be a little forgotten. It’s not a new hotel (it used to be a Novotel, it seems) and some of the fittings may not be the newest, but it all works. Very comfortable indeed, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, too!

United KingdomThe gym and the equipment are old. Swimming pool closes relatively early (6 pm) so we didn't have a chance to use it. Lighting in the room was very dark, so it was difficult to do work in the room.
The lobby smells good. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. The room was comfortable, and it was close-ish to UGM (which was our main purpose for visiting Yogyakarta). It's also close to a mall with some restaurants and cafes. We forgot some of our stuff at the hotel after checking out, and the staff there helpfully kept them for us.

IndonesiaBut they have limited parkig space and small elevators. Those 2 kinda be a hiccup during high season / rush hour. The AC temperature in my room (825) can't be adjusted. It was so cool even when we turn the thermostat to 30º. Other than that, this hotel really meet my expectation. A superb hotel with a reasonable price.
All facilities work well, staffs are wholeheartedly friendly and kind, the room is spacious and clean..really love this hotel.. Swimming pool is amazing with artificial waterfall.. Location is great..less than 10mins drive away from famous Malioboro (cost only around 20k IDR by grabcar).. The fridge in the room is really working, that the freezer can actually freeze my blue ice..
