Location It’s located in a dark, narrow alley with almost nothing around, which felt quite scary. But once you get out of that alley, everything else is nearby.

I thoroughly enjoyed the service; all the staff, from the front office to the restaurant, were exceptional. They were incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit and assisting with food delivery apps. Their kindness and smiles were truly appreciated. I loved this hotel...the best staff...shout out to Made...fabulous room which was huge and so funky. Breakfast was delicious, every choice superb. The bed and the pillows are divine....slept nearly 12 hours!

This may sound really picky but the curtains in the room need to be lined as come sunrise the room is extremely bright.

Chill is a fabulous hotel, we had room 304 and it was huge with its own sitting area and small kitchen space it even had its own bar area where you could pour drinks. The room had 2 balconies, one facing the beach and the other the pool so you can have sun throughout the day. The room is decorated in a 60’s style and is very quirky. The bed was large and comfortable. The location is great for the beach as it less than a 5 minute walk. If you are heading out for food etc you have to navigate the narrow poorly lit road, but my wife and I are in our mid 60’s and we managed no problem. The pool is a good size and there are sufficient beds and loungers within the area.

It's incorrectly rated in Booking as 5 stars. Our studio had a connecting door to another room. Although there's probably 2 doors connecting the rooms, plus some amount of soundproofing, it is not enough. We could hear loud neighbours, chants, children screaming and the worse and that I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYWHERE ELSE in my life, in 20+ years of travel and thousands of stays in hotels : the cleaning staff singing and playing music really loud in the next room,almost like throwing a party. I mean, I know it's Bali, but you're working...do you take your job/profession seriously or as a joke?Disturbing hotel guests - people come from all over the world to stay in Bali,they're tired, jet lag,sick. Especially because I was sick for a few days during our stay, and was basically bed ridden and unable to leave the room. There were fireworks loud at night sometimes as late as midnight/1AM, which is forbidden in other areas and woke us up. We're not old people that want to be a sleep at 11PM, but sometimes sleeping and waking up early is important if you want to exercise or surf early. The shower water pressure was just ok. The location isn't amazing - just really close to the beach with nothing else really interesting nearby.If you have a car you'll have to bring your driving skills along in those narrow alleys. Another thing that really surprised me was the staff telling my girlfriend (I was still flying and she checked us in by herself) that because I booked the room for 1 person (obviously an innocent "mistake" by someone that does a lot of travelling through Booking,and changes between rooms for 1/2 people), there was only 1 breakfast included. When I checked later, the breakfast is free for Genius members, and the reservation system in Booking even defaults to 2 people with breakfast when you search/book for 1 person, so I'm not even sure what was the relevance of that.

Chill is, in a way, one of the nicest places I've stayed at in Bali, over 12 years and 6 trips. As everything, it has pros and cons. The good things - it's mostly quiet, the rooms/studios are spacious, nice breakfast but it's a la carte/menu, and what a big uncrowded pool. Also, it's one of the most helpful and quick services we've experienced.

Hotel's first impression is somewhat underwhelming, with a plain reception area and an unremarkable exterior. Restaurants at least a 10-minute walk, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

Comfortable and stylish stay with its modern rooms, featuring ample storage, twin basins in the bathroom, and the convenience of two air conditioners. Its proximity to the beach is a definite plus, making it ideal for those who enjoy coastal relaxation. The breakfast spread is diverse, catering to different tastes..
