The location, staff, facilities are all amazing! A true spa experience in the middle of the forest, on top of the hills in the north of Bali! We had a real dreamy stay with them, but please take into account that since the place is on the hills, there are a lot of stairs (to go to restaurant, breakfast, yoga, swimming pool, etc).

The villa suite had breathtaking views, and the open-air yoga space above the hills was peaceful and unique. The chicken curry had no sauce and was very bland . My lunch was a fish salad but only had about one tablespoon of fish on . Then when my dinner came it had the exact same salad on the side . So overall the food was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was great, but I had one dinner and one lunch that missed the mark .

The stay was great. Located in the nature among rice fields. Great service: we were welcomed with drinks, received great quick shoulder massage, and were introduced to some of the Balinese traditions. Spacious and beautiful rooms with great view. And the breakfast😍 it was one of the greatest I ever had. Breakfast selection was incredibly diverse and satisfying. So beautiful and yummy.

Stunning location, very peaceful, amazing staff and you have to do the waterfalls trek to Aling aling. We thoroughly recommend joining the complimentary morning meditation class as well as the paid yoga sessions, heavenly Balinese massage and the delicious Balinese cooking class.

The pool closes quite early, at around 6pm. And there were no sunbeds next to the pool. Also, would have been good to be informed about the daily activities organized by the property, a bit earlier, not only in the latest 2 days.

Beautiful views from the room and the restaurant/swimming pool. Great breakfast (too much if you order everything you can) with many options and the plantbased restaurant for lunch/dinner is also really good. We enjoyed a great massage and spend much time on the balcony, enjoying the view and sounds from nature.

The room (though pretty new) was showing wear and tear in every corner. Moldy corner, bathtub faucet loose, toilet constantly flushing, stainy glass at bathroom door etc. The pool area was uninviting as it was not properly set into scene. After coming back from a trip the hotel forgot to offer fruits and coconut what (we realized later on) was included in the package. In total many minor not so serious points, but if you claim to be luxury it should be considered.

The Views are exceptional. The location is maybe the best you can get in that area as there are not a lot high end alternatives.

Set in a stunning location, with exceptional views. Maha Hills is truly a place to relax and unwind, that said, if you are feeling adventurous the delightful staff, namely Ardi will take the best care of you to ensure you create the most memorable adventures. If ever we were in need of anything around the resort, Shirley was very attentive and helpful. Lastly both restaurants look out over the stunning rice fields where, Dayu was a particularly lovely waitress.

Great for retreat and calmness. View is spectacular, food is great. Yoga, meditation classes are awesome Also I had a superb cooking master class. The staff is unbelievably polite and helpful. The location is a little bit far away from anything and the pillows in the bed could be better. After 4 days here my neck hurted

The Maha Hills is a very very beautiful resort with the most amazing view over the Rice fields, mountains and forrest. The staff there was very kind and did their best to make the stay comfortable - I was sick and Shirley helped to call a doctor and did what she could to make me feel better - and when I did she offered to give us a traditional Balinese experience with original Balinese clothing and took pictures and videos of us that turned out great - all for free! Definitely recommend 🙌🏼❤️

The views, the room was beatiful and ample, the personalized service, the communication online vía WA, the comfortable spa facilities, adequate prices at the restaurant, close by waterfalls if you like light trekking and local guides.special thanks to the two guys at the night shift (Andre and Dedi ?) who helped us one night with a slight medical condition. I appreciate the consideration taken towards us.

Initially, there were a few small issues, but Yuda and Shirley took excellent care of everything. Their dedication and quick response made sure we had a perfect stay. Nothing to complain about in the end!

Maha Hills is a perfect getaway in the North!! When you arrive at Maha, the first thing is the VIEWS overlooking the mountains, they are breathtaking! Also, they have an infinity pool at the top and it is amazing! The rooms are spacious with a nice terrace and they are clean. The food in the restaurant is very delicious, so big kudos to the people in the kitchen - they defo know what they are doing! And the service is amazing - people working in the resort are very friendly, helpful and warm, so we were very happy about our stay over there! A definite recommendation for the North of Bali!
