Mantra Gili offers a fantastic location—centrally situated yet away from the noisy party streets. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are new, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. The only minor drawback is the early morning call to prayer from a nearby mosque, but this is beyond the hotel's control. Fortunately, they provide earplugs to help mitigate the noise. Super recommended!

There is one thing but you can’t blame it on the hotel, and that is the sound of the praying of the mosque (we where here during Ramadan so it was more than usual)

The Mantra Gili is one of if not the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The location of the hotel is nearly perfect, staff is friendly and for the breakfast you should stick with theirs instead of going to look for somewhere else! Everything in het room is working perfectly just the way you want it to be.

Stayed for 3 nights here. I was looking for something that is more up to date/modern and not surround by to much exterior noise from hostels like music. This was it. It has hairdryer, refrigerator, AC, it’s just a few minutes walking to the beach/main strip. The stuff was great. Andy helped me a lot. Would recommend.

It's nothing to do with the hotel as it's fantastic, however the constant nightly noise from the mosque is way too loud and unbearable. Bring some earplugs as it's unacceptable to have loud disruptions at 3am in the morning all over this beautiful small island.

The Mantra Gili is a wonderful place to stay as the rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff who work there go out of their way to help you and provide great service.

We had an amazing stay! Staff is so kind and the room is perfectly clean and bright. The best part is the location of the hotel, just 6 minutes walk from the harbor and the main beach and restaurant area. That is very helpful as there are not transportation means on the island and especially for the arrival with heavy luggage.

Beautiful property, the rooms were great, staff were incredibly nice and helpful, location is somewhat far from the port although you can rent bikes nearby for cheap that make getting around a breeze.

This small boutique hotel has an excellent location, only a 5-minute walk from the harbor. Staff are polite and are ready to help you with anything you may need during your stay. We've loved staying here. Breakfast was very tasty and affordable. We can, without a doubt, recommend Mantra Gili to those looking for a clean, affordable and quiet oassis away from the main street. We will visit again in the future. Thank you, Mantra Gili, for a wonderful experience.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel.

We loved everything about this property, especially the staff, they are exceptional - friendly, positive, extremely helpful, polite we can’t praise them enough. Our room was lovely, very relaxing with a very comfortable bed and pillows made for a great night sleep. Breakfast was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the smoothie fruit bowls and the best pancakes we have ever had. We loved the pool right outside the room with comfortable beanbags to sit and chill on a morning. We hired bikes and borrowed towels for the beach. The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk from the harbour / main strip which makes it a great location. We extended our stay by a further 3 night we loved it that much and tried to extend again but they were fully booked. We would DEFINITELY choose to stay here again and would highly recommended it to anyone.

The water pressure was a bit low but perhaps this is normal for the island. Wifi was a bit patchy when a lot of people were using it, although this seems to be standard on Gili islands, just something to be aware of if you need internet

We loved the staff here at Mantra Gili, they made our stay at Gili T so much more enjoyable. Always welcoming us ‘home’ with a smile. Walkable distance the main strip/beach but far enough that you don’t get all the noise from beach clubs. Great pool and pool towels available to cool off. The room was clean and linen changed as you wanted - you were able to indicate this on the sign outside the room. You could fill up water bottles with filtered water in the kitchen. The breakfast was lovely and included a main meal selection, smoothie or juice and coffee

They don’t have collaborations for activities - snorkeling tours, etc. so you’ll have to find your way around for that. :)

The staff were great, the room was cleaned every day, the pool was nice and refreshing, the breakfast in the restaurant was really nice as well. The staff recommended us a really nice local warung - Sumi Sate/Babalung, the sate and beef soup were amazing!

Really well designed and good size room for solo traveller even for a couple who’s looking to stay at hotel with a swimming pool ! Location is excellent, 5 mins walk to / from the port, great for people who’s got suitcases. Staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also amazing, I cannot say a bad thing about this hotel.

The hole place Gili Trawangan is getting more and more worse, bad smell everywhere, a lot of transport with impolaite and iven impudent owners in narrow streets dirty beaches and fast dying corals. REALLY AGLY PLACE TO VISIT.

The walls are very thinly so you can hear the sound of the mosque at 5 am.
