The transfer bus to Ubud needs to be upgraded or at least the air conditioner needs fixing.

The setup in the villas with the pool, outside shower and the relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was great and so was the spa pool area. Yoga each morning was a great way to start the day. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Evening transportation is limited, getting a car to go out for dinner can be costly.

Impeccable service from the staff. Property is very well maintained.. even though my last visit was 9 years ago, the facilities were just as good.

The only 1 thing I could think of was the damp smell in the villa from the AC machine but that is also understandable given the amount of rain that falls each day. Everything else was impeccable and the staff we all very friendly and accommodating.

Out of the hustle and bustle of the busy roads and towns, this resort was so quiet, peaceful and offered true R&R. We had a villa with a private pool, the buffet breakfast was great and catered for Gluten Free station (my husband is Coeliac) and the Spa overlooking the riverside was stunning. The resort has great facilities, gym, 2 x pools (3 if you count the small baby pool) nice and spacious, security gate at the entrance (not that this worried us) there is several locations to eat, the Riverside Cafe does some great Italian food.

This is a magical place. We had the best time ever. Everything was PERFECT, from the place to the staff. We will definitely be back, we have found our place in Bali 😊 Special thanks to Ari, the service from him was perfect, he was super professional and very kind and made our stay wonderful.

The first infinity pool is one of its kind. It’s just spectacular. The rooms give you a very resort - private villa feel, with private pool in the lap of nature. Breakfast buffet options were good enough, food tasted great and reasonably priced. The landscape of the overall property is amazing.

The spa service was rushed which was probably the only drawback in the hotel.

Stayed at maya ubud for four nights, In my opinion this is by far the best hotel in ubud ,bali.Right from exceptional service from the staff to the amazing infinity pool overlooking the river and the forest.In my four days of stay not once did i hear the word 'no ' for any request from any hotel staff.Phenomenal value for money -this hotel beats hands down the way more expensive options of ubud.

the fact that one of the treadmillds (out of 2) and the only stationary bike in the gym were broken.

the hotel is beautifully decorated and built in Balinese style. the staff is very kind and the food excellent. i also enjoyed the dances during the special dinners. spa area is amazing, as well as the pools. the only down side was that one of the treadmills and the stationary bike, in the gym, were broken, but we were able to exercise in times when the gym was not full.
