The location is far at the deep end of the small road. You would need a driver to go through the narrow roads.

The 3 bedroom villa is nice and cosy. Furnishings were nice and unique. All 3 rooms had large beds.The villa boasts beautiful views of the padi field and the main swimming pool. The pool is larger compared to the other smaller villas. Staffs were warm and friendly. Breakfast and dinner was good. The appetisers given as a welcome was amazing looking and delicious too.

That we couldn't stay for longer.

Outstanding. The hotel is a delight, a beautiful and peaceful oasis away from the bustle of the town. It's elegantly set out, surrounding rice terraces with traditional cottages. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The staff were simply lovely with us - so helpful and friendly. We did the traditional floating breakfast, which was amazing, and also the Balinese cooking session. We would like to thank the hotel and its staff for making this hotel such a big part of our happy memories of Bali.

The only downside is the location itself. In hindsight we stayed too long in Ubud. The town itself is traffic-jammed most of the time making it difficult to get around.

We loved the hotel. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. We tended not to eat lunch or dinner there but when we did the food was great.

We had thought from the booking.com photos that accompany listing that it would be more like bungalow style accommodation, but we were allocated more of a hotel-room style. Just be cautious of this when selecting rom type.

Just along the same line of being prepared for what the rooms are like, it’s all wooden and there are holes in the windows/doors/ the shower was hanging on and slightly dripped from the ceiling, but just took a bit of getting used to. Also we both went outside and slid the door back to stop bugs from going in and the door locked us out! It was strange as once the staff helped by luckily climbing through an unlocked window, we slid the door back and forth and it didn’t lock itself. So could definitely do with a few fixes on certain parts of the room. But, overall you are staying in the jungle so it is exactly what you would expect, and for the price of the hotel, we were happy.

We stayed in one of the villas with a plunge pool and it was nice. Friendly staff, complimentary water in the room along with a mini bar that you can pay extra for, and comfy bed. Good breakfast and they offer lunch and dinner too, which we did not have but looked good. Just to note that it is very rustic and exactly as it is advertised so it took a bit of getting used to!

The place was amazing with beautiful Villas.The location was also good.The food quality was also great. I would especially like to mention and praise the support, help and comfort we got from Dewa Ayu.She was exceptional in going beyond her responsibilities.My wife and daughter developed a special bond with her.She has a good understanding of the customer services and overall relationship management with the customers.She is an asset for the Menzel Ubud Resort. Wahyu at the reception was also helpful.

Needed scooters to get around as a little out of the way. But we enjoyed the scooter a lot!

Everything! This place was the best place we stayed in Bali! We loved our room with the private pool, it was so beautiful and went to sleep with the sound of the forest behind. The breakfast was amazing and also the best we had in our trip! We loved the food and the menu was so good we ate dinner there at night. Staff friendly and super helpful!
