Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsOne thing to keep in mind is that accessibility can be a bit challenging. The walk to the accommodation includes a few steep sections and some gravel or small stone paths, which might make it difficult with a large suitcase. However, the staff is extremely helpful and always willing to assist with luggage. It’s just something to consider for those who may have mobility concerns. That said, the experience is well worth it!
Our stay here was truly special and original, with a stunning view. The two staff members, Sami and Yuda, were really amazing—very friendly and always ready to help. The dinner options were surprisingly good, even compared to other places we tried in the area. The bathroom was great, and despite being a tent, the facilities were excellent. There were enough electricity points, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

RomaniaThe place is really nice and it is a mix of local and modern settlement. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing on the large terrace next to our igloo. The settlement is 100-150 m from the main road and the walking path is next to a small river. The view is really amazing. The owner was extremely kind and helpful with all we needed. The food was delicious and really cheap. Also he carried our luggage on his motor bike from the main road. 🙏

FranceWe stayed for three nights in this amazing bubble room in Munduk, and it was an unforgettable experience! The view, the service, and the cozy design of the room were all perfect. It was definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by greenery and rice paddies. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge, far from the busy areas in the south of the island. Even though it was a bit above our budget, it was worth every penny. A big thank you to Samy and his colleague for their kindness and excellent service! Samy was so helpful, even carrying our luggage on his scooter from the road to our room. Both he and his colleague were so friendly and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The room itself was very comfortable and well-designed, with everything we needed. The view of the forest was breathtaking, and the breakfasts were delicious! We also felt very safe and calm during our stay, which made it even better. Thank you, Samy—you’re the best! We hope to come back again to this wonderful place.

RussiaThe access to the camp is via a dirt one-lane road. We drove there by car, and it’s difficult to pass other cars. Parking is along the road, as you can't drive directly to the camp, and then you need to walk about 150 meters along a trail.
The beautiful place around nature with a sunset view. Very good mattress, hard and healthy. We enjoyed the stay very much.

CanadaIt was slightly remote so a scooter was mandatory. The path to reach this property was narrow and dangerous and not easily accessible. If the path was widened it would be extremely advantageous to this property .
This property was glamping at its finest! Excellently managed by Sammy catering to our every need. The view was superb as was the comfort and service.

United KingdomA great experience staying in the pods. Really at one with nature, the local area had great walks through paddies and into villages. The terrace area has the most awesome view. The guys running the show were friendly and helpful. Approx 40 minute (v hilly) walk into Munduk village.

LithuaniaUnfortunately we were bothered 2 nights by loud music being played somewhere near in the surrounding area. The music started from evening and lasted all night till the dawn. From other reviews I see people had the same issue, so this is really ruining this place and peace it can provide. Tried to take a bathtub, but the batch filled only halfway with warm water and the water just gone. After a while it came back but only as cold. So do not see a point having a bathtub if there are water issues as such. For dinner we have ordered food (particularly curry, with said includes steamed rice). But upon checking out we were provided a bill where rice were charged separately. The guy in the reception couldn’t explain why, so we brought even a menu from a room to explain, but he still were not able to explain or fix the situation. As it was not much money, we ended up just paying for it, but still this was not a pleasant experience. So be careful when ordering food from this place.
The place was beautiful, make sure you take a room with sunset and rice fields view. The tent itself clean, you can refill your water. Receptionist is friendly although does not speak English very well.

LithuaniaThe only bad thing is that we had to leave.
We traveled around Bali for four weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed. Everything was perfect, we were sad it was only available for one night. There are some other places which offer tents nearby, we tried one of them and it was not even close to this place. The rice field & Sunset View room is the best one, it also has a Mountain view. You can relax in the bath, breakfast can be served at your tent at no extra cost which was such a great gesture. Comfortable beds, air-conditioning, and views from the tent and outside were magnificent. Very private, a bit hard to drive with a scooter to a parking place but if needed, you will be assisted straight away.
