Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe staff were really friendly and attentive. Room was comfy and cool. No mosquito issues although rice fields all around due to frogs doing what they do.. Beautiful view and location.

United KingdomPaper thin walls so you can hear your neighbour’s talk but if you are both quiet at respectful times then all good Shower head was not working properly so had to use the tap to shower Mosquito net didn’t fit the size of the bed so had to be inventive with propping items on each corner of the bed for it to work.
Situated right next to the rice fields Small homestay and quiet area Friendly host Armin, who took me on cultural hand-making tour which was fascinating. Learnt about hand weaving, pottery and basket weaving. And then went to the second largest waterfall in Lombok.

ItalyExcellent experience! The family was very friendly, they made us feel like home. Amin knows everything about Tetebatu and its culture, and the tour with him really gives you the opportunity to get into all the history and the way of living of this area. The food was incredible, every ingredient is bought from the local farms and you can taste it!! Highly recommended

GermanyWe really enjoyed staying there! Amin and Riz made our stay really special and they felt like family. They always checked if we need something and offered us tea and coffee anytime. We booked a ricefieldtour with Amin and he showed us the whole process and also a lot of different vegetables and fruit that grow in this area. The dinner was the best we had in Indonesia and was always cooked fresh from Atti and Riz. We really recommend that place and will definitely come back!

NetherlandsThe huts are 100% bamboo, so it does get quite damp overnight. If you close your bags this is no problem at all.
Good location, very clean and very affordable. The staff was very nice and provided for good food. They also provide a tour through and around Tetebatu, which I would highly recommend!

TaiwanA mosque in the village makes noise pretty early but that’s normal
The property is located in a calm area in the village, next to a rice field - you will have a beautiful view for the breakfast. The room are clean and pretty. And the best part is Amin, he is someone incredibly nice, friendly and we felt like home. We had some health issues during our stay and he helped us with everything. I recommend the rice field tour with him too

SwitzerlandOn our second evening, we didn’t know what time the kitchen was closing so we couldn’t eat at the homestay, but Amin told us about a place to eat nearby and it was great! Make sure you tell them in advance if you want to eat there !
Lovely homestay surrounded by rice fields. The room was very comfortable and clean and the facilities were good. Amin the manager welcomed us kindly with some tea a great local dinner at the homestay on our arrival. The next day, Amin took us on a rice field tour, we also saw some waterfalls and the monkey forest. I can only recommend you to do this tour with Amin, he explained all the process of rice cultivation and harvest and much more. I recommend this homestay 100%, super nice hosts and comfortable room, and beautiful surroundings in the middle of the rice fields.

DenmarkLeaving Mysha's was actually like leaving good friends - heartbreaking.
The stay in Tetebatu was my first ever experience of Indonesia and, wow! - was I absolutely smitten with its simplicity and beauty. The price of accommodation is so minuscle that it only makes sense to support homestay owners by joining on their local tours. After all, they offer not just their time, but their valuable local experience. Walk with them the rice fields, see and hear about the agriculture, jump into the cave waterfalls, watch the local ladies weave sarongs and make clay pottery, drive to the local market and ask your hosts to explain the local foods. If you are not the hike-or-die type, ask your hosts to bring you up to the foothills of Rinjani - and breathe in silence... I've seen and felt in a week more than I would do in two months back home. Also, very important!, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe with my hosts. I felt protected, respected and genuinely understood.

United KingdomIncluded breakfast is not as advertised in the pictures. Food that can be purchased at the property is ok but quite expensive for what it is. Close proximity to a number of mosques so very noisy during call to prayer.
Room was cosy and comfortable. Nice lighting. Good bathroom with hot water. Hosts were very helpful. Gated accomodation and locked up our scooter for us at night.

SpainThe location is in the middle of rice paddies so its besutiful, step outside the front gates and you can see the mountains too. It's also close to waterfalls and a 10 minute scooter ride to the monkey forest. If you order from their menu you cant find fresher food, what they dont pick from their garden they will buy fresh from the market just for your meal. Especially special was the curry that they made from fresh coconut and let us drink the water! They helped us to arrange a taxi to our next destination for a fair price.

CanadaMy soap dispenser was empty and not filled despite requests. Mosquito net sized for a crib, not a large bed and therefore did not provide protection. Regardless there were never see mosquitos in the room when I was there.
The location is in the rice fields, surrounded by jungle fruit trees, beautiful flowering plants . It is very quiet and peaceful. Vibe is very tranquille and authentic.Fresh clean air. Woven grass walls and the ceiling of the rooms kept it cool..the Manager Amin was a great host and tour guide. Very knowledgeable and because he is a local he was able to escort us every where.

Was staying here for one night only and late booking, due to unpredictable additional trip in Lombok. Located in Kembang kuning near Tetebatu area, this amazing guest house was memorable. This unique guest house has only 2 bungalows. View of greeneries, rice fields view, small mountain and hills, village life and traditional way. Big shoutout to 2 guys who stood by the property, there were so great, kind, and helpful. They did extraordinary job. Bang sukri and another keeper were top notch. Served a good breakfast and hot drinks. Short distance to the waterfall and natural pool in Tetebatu, perfect spot for short gateway of Lombok busy time.

FranceWe stayed three nights in Mysha Guest House, and everything was amazing. The guest house is located in the middle of the rice fields, in such a calm and beautiful environment. The room was cute and clean, but what made our stay really special was the kindness of the managers. They were always available, really kind and funny! They made us feel at home. We did several activities proposed by the guest house, and they were, as well, the most amazing guides! Thank you so much, Amin and Sucri!!
