We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and unique charm of the villas. However, a few aspects of our stay could be improved. The villa walls were quite thin, which affected the sound insulation, and the mattress was much firmer than we’re used to, making it challenging to get a good night’s sleep. Food service also had significant delays, with a wait of over 45 minutes as meals are transported from a partner property. Additionally, the ensuite could benefit from extra shelving for convenience.

Nice small resort and personal touches of the owner, there were many staff ready to help, it was during large rain when we visited.

A very beautiful property located away from the hustle of central Ubud. The staff was very kind and helpful specially Putu. He helped us to arrange a few day trips at very reasonable price and guided us to roam around.

The bathroom was basic and the toilet lid was loose. And the roosters start at 4:30am

The grounds and the pool were so awesome. Also the villa was spacious quiet aircon and very comfy bed and pillows. Excellent value for money. About a 20 min drive into Ubud central. Easy to get around with a scooter. But also walking distance to two beautiful waterfalls. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the villa was very inconvenient to find. Also, no one's fault but it's just nature, we did not have comfortable nights as the noise of animals (reptiles) kept us awake most of the nights. Many times we saw big massive geckos near our room, and asked staff for help, nothing much could have been done as it's nature.

I know ants are all over the island, but there have been many in the bathroom and the sink was leaking. Anyhow, it was comfortable overall and not too dramatic.

Breakfast was very good, staff was nice and always tried to support in case of any questions. Pick up from airport was provided as well. The pool is clean and the property is nicely designed. Wifi is good and the TV is perfectly able to display also Netflix. Room also provides kitchenette and nice terrace outside.

The staff are very helpful. When i asked them to clean or replace the towels they did that immediately. Arranged for scooter hire. Just had to say no to few of the recommendations that they gave as I wanted to do my own exploration.

Lighting in the room was poor. The pantry and washroom were well lit but the bedroom lighting was poor.

The infinity swimming pool was beautiful. It's lush green area and a wooden cottage gave it a premium look and experience. Rooms were of adequate size. Lighting in the room was poor. Location is decent. You need a vehicle. We stayed for 1 night. The breakfast was delicious. I choose this hotel as it was walking distance to Sumanpan waterfall. However, accessing the waterfall is little difficult as you need to cross a river with a rope and it can be tricky.

Quiet, location, and feeling of being in a real Balinese accommodation. Surprisingly, the wood hard bed turned out to be very comfortable.

Our warm water wasn’t working for three days and on one night we had no water at all. We couldn’t take a warm shower one day, and needed to use other rooms on two other days. That was quite annoying. And we had a lot of ants in our room, some were even on the bed which was also annoying.

It was well maintained, nice pool, small and cute resort. The resort is only a 15/20 minute scooter ride to the center of Ubud which was nice, because it was not so busy around the resort. The staff were really kind people.

Ultimately, Pangkung Carik is let down by a lack of staffing, staff training and no management or leadership. The young guys running it tried their best. But there was no special touches, lack of English. They struggled to clean the rooms, man the reception or give us pool towels. Getting anything was hard work. My read is that Pramana Resort group is just taking an easy cut of profits, without investing any resources into it. No training, leaderships or systems...and no senior staff member. Do better

They do not have much stuff , you would need some patients for checking in.

I like the villa is in the middle of no way , so will have a get away feeling. You would have to hire a driver / taxi to drive you in and out.5 mins away there is a waterfall already. it is a very relax place , not too many people , pool for swimming , massage available. If you want to relax , get away from the crowd, really recommend. Fried rice/fried noodles breakfast are my first choice !

The toilets doesn’t have any ventilation. Not sure if this is a common thing in Bali outback. But staffs are cooperative to clean whenever required. Our Villa was close to a parking so there was some noise during night. There are no stoves or microwave in the kitchen, I reckon the kitchen space could be utilised more.
