I can’t fault anything - but lots of steep steps which can be hard in the heat! But that’s what you have to do for the views.

Amazing views with the infinity pool overlooking the valley. Staff very friendly and attentive. A really great selection of food for breakfast lots of choice for all different tastes and appetites. We had a villa with private pool - we returned after visiting 5 years previously as we wanted to go back. We even got another amazing little leaving present which is a lovely touch.

There are renovations happening in the restaurant (which is a highlight from my previous trip) but that won't be forever and it didn't bother me too much. There is some construction over the valley but that can't be helped by Pita Maha. One night there was some construction noise that ended at 9pm which bothered me a little but I got over it. This only happened for 1 out of 2 nights I was there and staff told me that it was not a nightly thing. There is a smell in the Villa that might just be the thatching, I got used to it quickly though. Some things are old and worn that need to be replaced but I trust that an establishment like Pita Maha would be aspiring to do that in the future. I will be back and am looking forward to any developments made (including the restaurant!)

I dont know where to start! I stayed here over 12 years ago and Pita Maha is just as amazing now as it was then, especially compared to some of the other places that I had stayed at in Bali prior (which cost more per night). The grounds and gardens are spectacular - like artwork. You can tell that a lot of care goes into everything and there is a mystical feeling from the old stone carvings and landscaping as you walk around. I cant even put into words how breathtaking the view is over the valley. It's surreal. The villas have everything you need down to a disposable loofa for guests! Such a nice touch. The spa is UNREAL. The older lady that has been working there for 27 years gave me the best massage of my life and I have had more massages than anyone I know. Can't wait to come back again :)

Very spacious, tranquil and comfortable villas in traditional architecture with panorama view into the nature. Delicious a la carte breakfast and lovely staff. Good location in the extension of the main road trough Ubud. Resort offers convenient shuttle service to the city centre of Udud. A good choice

It was a little bit of a walk from the main road in Ubud, only like 20 minutes which is not too bad, but there is a free shuttle which helps.

far from the reception to the villa, stairs, not very clean and the area is not well-groomed. We had insects in our bed and the whole bed was covered in things that termites or other insects eat. Staff smiled and happily said that this was normal.

Nothin- everything was perfect!

Probably the best holiday resort we have ever stayed in. The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by extremely friendly staff. The check in process was so relaxing. The villa was spectacular, and the facilities were amazing. You have to try the Spa, it's one of the best in Bali. One highlight for us was the floating breakfast in the infinity pool. We are definitely going to stay here again next time in Ubud.

The lighting but overall the place was very private. A few mishaps but minor when put into the bigger picture. The staff were extremely accomdating and welcoming. The place is clean, service is impeccable.

Majority of staff were professional, kind and polite. The place itself was beautiful however the room was very dark but again a beautiful view with a real authenticity to the place. You feel like you really are in the middle of the jungle.

Exceeded expectations. Great location with stunning views from the villas, lobby, restaurant, and pool. Surrounded by greenery but just a 30-minute walk to Ubud Palace down a gentle slope. Shuttle bus available for return trip. Very relaxing.

I wish there was a dehydrator in the villas. Everybody needs it for bathing suits.During the stay, everybody swims there so we need it. I wish I had my usual coffee with Nespresso machine.There are hotels that equips Nespresso machines with capsule.You could provide it.

Since this place is not large, there weren’t many guests ,though there was no more room available All the guests were quiet and we could spent quiet holiday. The view from the room, the main pool, the restaurant were really great and beautiful.

The natural view is great,every corner seems like designed perfectly . Staffs are very helpful and friendly , makes me feel at home . Spa really makes feel relaxed and cured pain. All in all , I had golden memories in Pita Maha, will back to Ubud get a long stay again !
