The setting is lovely with a beautiful pool and garden. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious. The cost was very reasonable.

Not one thing.. just perfect

Have stayed here many many times over the years. It’s very comfortable, spotless and lovely pool and garden. Staff are just diamonds and it’s great to see familiar faces every year. Good breakfast especially they don’t have a restaurant. I have spent 3 Nypei with them and again they all look after us so well. Fridges in rooms and endless bottled water. And must not forget Bella the cat who is usually to be found asleep on a chair beside me at breakfast.

We didn't know that payment for the room wasn't made yet. So far, whenever we book through booking.com, our rooms were prepaid before we go. We were only informed the evening before we left, leaving us no time to arrange for other methods of payment, especially as there was a surcharge of 3% when we paid by credit card. This could have been avoided if we were informed of the need to pay earlier, giving us time to prepare cash.

Good location, can easily walk out to Sindhu Night market and other eateries nearby. Pondok Ayu is nice & quiet.

Fantastic little hotel, only five rooms and a central courtyard area with the pool so you feel like you're in a very private space. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and also make a delicious breakfast each morning. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet so we had a lovely sleep each day. Much needed after a couple of weeks in Java! Location is fine, I don't understand the people who complain... the beach is 10 mins walk away, yes there's a busy road but you can just cross it normally. Overall 10/10 would only come back here if we return to Bali.

The hotel met our expectations. Beautiful territory with a wonderful garden, calm, relaxing atmosphere, very clean pool, comfortable and bright rooms. There are only 5 rooms in the facility, but there were practically no neighbors in sight. The room has a wonderful kitchen, equipped with everything you need. Drinking water in large bottles is always available. The staff carefully monitors the order and cleanliness in the rooms and throughout the territory. We extended our stay and always remember with gratitude Pjndok Ayu, his lovely hostess, caring and smiling Kadek and excellent staff.

I think for the property is great for its price

I liked everything: the place, owners (Sari is so friendly and helpful!), good location: not far to the centre and, at the same time, lots of supermarkets and places for kids around. Everything is clean, the swimming pool is just perfect if you have a kid.

There is no actual reception desk, so when we arrived there wasn’t much information provided about the property. A very kind man (who did a lot of the maintenance/ground keeping) helped bring up our bags and showed us to our room. There is an info book in the room so that helped with getting to know the property a little more. The property is located down a dimly lit alleyway. We used our phone flashlight to help guide us back to the property in the evenings. When going to the beach, you do need your cross a busy road. We didn’t have much issue, but thought it was worth mentioning!

The property was very quiet (except for the rooster next door… nothing some earplugs didn’t fix!!). We liked that the property had just a few rooms and the garden was very nice and peaceful!!! The pool was fantastic and we had it all to ourselves most of the time! The room was very large with good AC and a mini fridge! The staff were very friendly and always happy to help! We booked massages and we thoroughly enjoyed them. It’s a great place to stay!

A little remote and was quiet but mainly because it’s low season.

Lovely room, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Pool and surroundings are lovely and the staff are so friendly. Breakfast is great too. It’s about a 15 min walk from the beach down some risky roads but can also easily get a grab or Gojek ride. Shops and restaurants also within 10-15 mins and lots of local ones on the side of the roads. Massage was brilliant too. Definitely one to come back to if staying in Sanur.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff, location and the place was just perfect to wind down and relax. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the busy part of Sanur but a 5-8 min car ride or a 30 min walk into the main part of Sanur. If you don’t want to go out highly recommend ordering something of the menu or getting a Gojek to deliver. We absolutely adored the staff and their cooking and just how warm everyone was. Cannot wait to visit again

The staff were hardly around and seemed very shy. When we had questions, we didn't know how to find them. I had to ask for more water which I thought was replaced daily, and we couldn't find the pool towels cupboard. Breakfast was at a shared table. The place is a bit of a walk in the heat to the beach and tourist area, not an issue for us but may be for others.

Nice smaller villa setting with pool and garden. King room was the biggest we had in Bali with good air conditioning, great wardrobe area and a good big bathroom vanity. It was also probably the cleanest we had. There's a great local night food market nearby that has small warungs and stalls at non tourist prices.

Extremely comfortable large room in a peaceful location. After a months stay it felt like home and the staff felt like family! It's only a short taxi ride to restaurants plus also walkable across the bypass to restaurants, we didn't find this difficult at all! We stayed in a Studio Room that has a well equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator which was very handy for a long stay. Thank you Siri, Ayu, Kadek, Martini, and Gede for a very happy holiday.

Only stayed two days. Unfortunately place is often fully booked and we were unable to extend our stay.

Set back from the beach and busy roads so calm and peaceful atmosphere. Nice pool in beautiful garden setting. Spacious room. Proper milk in fridge for coffee. Very good breakfast and evening meal available. Short five minutes walk to very good restaurants and about 15 to the beach.

The hotel organised a driver to take me after my stay there, to Sanur Harbour, which he did. Also included in the money I paid to him, was he was supposed to pick me back up at Sanur Harbour after my duration in the islands, he CHOSE not to come back to collect me and he left me stranded there with no way of relocating to my hotel. Very poorly managed, and for this I would not go back to Pondok Ayu. I am also elderly, so I was extremely angry!!

I liked how well equipped the room was, even to suply milkwas a nice touch.

Didn’t realise it was quite the distance from the main part of sanur but gojek made life very easy!

The staff were so friendly and really treated us like family. Especially GEDE!!!! He even taught me how to ride a motorbike and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time in sanur!!
