❌ There was no obvious way to control the AC and it was really hot in the room. Especially on a top bunk. If you stay, I recommend requesting a bottom bunk! ❌ This was not an issue for me, but it was not a social hostel. I like a calm place to stay, but if you're looking for night life/socialising, this won't be the hostel for you. ❌ The area was not the safest at night. As a solo female, I didn't feel particularly comfortable walking to the shop around the corner. ❌ The key I was given didn't work in the locker, so I slept with my bag just out in the room. It was completely safe, nobody touched it, but some people may not feel comfortable with this

✅ Great for a short stay whilst exploring Kuta, or before/after flying into Denpasar. It was around a 20-25 minute drive from the airport in a taxi, and the hostel organised transport for me, which was so helpful. ✅ The beds were clean and really large, especially for a dorm ✅ The beds were private with curtains, and had a little ledge for your phone/watch at night ✅ Communal area was beautiful with a big table, chill out sofas and a kitchen. You can buy soft drinks for fair prices. ✅ Pool looked lovely (but it wasn't very big and nobody was using it as it was very close to the building making it feel a bit awkward)

It’s near to a local bar so sometimes it’s hard to read in peace close to the swimming pool but that’s fine , but the rest is perfect

When I got in, there was "funny" smell in the bathroom which kind of had a negative impact on my stay. Also the food wasn't really that good (but that's just considering my preferences) - and to be fair, it is super cheap.

The room was very nice, right by the pool, pretty spacey and had everything I needed. Also the vibe is super chill.

Mosquitoes, make sure you have repellent Or light citronella incense The kitchen has neither stove nor microwave but the hosts offer a very delicious menu with a variety of the finest local cuisine. I was allowed to use the kitchen anyways in case i craved certain foods. The staff provided me with anything i needed!

I loved everything about this place!!! The stuff is incredible nice and welcoming. They literally do everything for you!!! The room is very specious with plenty of space for the luggage. The bathroom includes multiple toilets and baths per room. The common area downstairs is nice and clean. The pool is perfect for a relax afternoon. The food they offer is super cheap and very delicious. I kept coming back to this place through the whole month that I stayed in Bali. I just loved it! If I ever come back to Bali, I would definitely stay with Pudak Sari again! Thank you Via and Asri, you made my stay feel like I was home! Hope to see you again girls :)

- check out staff was not helpful (the guy just woke up and was unhappy because I asked him for some boiled water and he would rather go back to sleep than give it to me)—-kettle was right behind him… - not really sociable place, everyone minding themselves.

It is convenient location (close to the airport), and next to the motorbike rental, so exactly where I needed to be. -big bunk beds with curtains and plugs, - comfortable bed, - enough showers with hot water running, - girls at the reception when checking in were nice, - not very nice area of Kuta but hostel itself was nice (like a small oasis).

The facilities were fantastic. The beds were large & spacious, the swimming pool was lovely. I really liked the bathroom facilities. The living space was little a hotel & there was an adjoined bar right next door. The hostel offered a free meal on arrival and served unlimited tea / coffee during the morning. 20 minutes walk to the town centre for nightlife

They will email you about airport pickup for 150k Indonesian rupees but when you download Grab taxi app and travel to hostel it only costs 21k. They are ripping off you 7.5 times lol. Just be mindful and use Grab taxi app for airport transfers. Since it is nearby airport people just come as a stopover for one night and hence environment there is quite dead.

The place was very clean, hostel beds were bigger than usual hostels. They have their own restaurant as well. The location is excellent and all other restaurants are at walking distance. The staff is really friendly and makes you comfortable.

- the beds are big, comfy, with curtains, plugs & light - lots of bathrooms and showers for the female dorm - everything very clean - they serve a family dinner for free on saturdays which is really tasty and gives you the opportunity to meet people - nice clean pool - big lockers under the bed plus extra safe small locker next to reception - super friendly owners ans staff - let me store my luggage in a safe room while i went to other Indonesian islands

Sometimes, a very minor problem with the internet connection when doing a call/remote work-meeting. Another one is the not so cold acu, luckily I have a fan near my bed.

I like a lot about the property. Its proximity to airport, main Kuta streets and beach. The food at reasonable price, the common areas, rooms and larger bed size. I also like the staff with friends/family vibes. The Saturday night free dinner for everyone and time to bond with other guests is a premium :)
