Amazing suit, delicious fresh plant-based food, authentic spa treatments and rituals done by locals, calming and relaxing atmosphere throughout, friendly and respectful staff, clean and beautiful. What else could you ask for? There's really nothing negative or even neutral about this place in my opinion. If like us you wish to go to Bali for a tranquil retreat where you'll slow down from your busy day-to-day, then this one is a gem!

United StatesA bit isolated — could use more free shuttle service. Take note: ALL FOOD AT THIS RESORT IS PLANT-BASED. No meat, fish or dairy. The restaurant did a fine job in preparing plant-based cuisine, but i think this aspect should be noted on websites more prominently. It came to us as quite a surprise.

NorwayThere wasn’t a minibar at the rooms, so the water was warm. But you could Ask for one if you wanted to and we didn’t. And our room, Avcasa, was close to a pond which Made it smell a little in our room. The toilet was outside. The entire bathroom was. It was Nice, but also a bit idk
The stay was beautiful, the hotell lies just by the river in the jungle, with calm sounds of the river, birds and animallife. Very peaceful. Every morning there’s morning yoga at 8:00, before a vegan set menu breakfast. The staff are so polite and makes sure that you have the best possible stay. We tried both healing and massasge at the spa, and ecpesially enjoyed the sakti ritual massasge. The room was very beautiful and tidy, with an outdoor bathroom!! All in all a much reccomended stay.

But I actually prefer the usual bread 😅 Also the shuttle could be provided more frequently but it’s ok in the end as I didn’t even end up venturing out to ubud centre since it was raining all the time during my stay.
Everything! All the staff are so nice and friendly, they remember my name, even when I haven’t met them personal. They greet me by my first name! I also met the GM John and he is really kind too. I spent only two nights at the resort and didn’t even leave the resort ground to ubud centre!

United StatesThe 5 course plant based dinner is very healthy and delicious but if you decide to eat at the hotel every evening, then some variety could be helpful (The breakfast and lunch menus change/have verities which is great.) That said I recommend eating there dinner one night (A MUST)) and then go explore Ubud: restaurants and dance shows, etc. Remember to download grab or gojek apps (uber-like apps).
Thank you, Fivelement staff. Everything was beyond good. This place should be renamed to Heaven. You will dive into kindness, spirituality, nature, health. Honestly, don't think twice, just do it, says someone who is picky. I will go back one day. Remember not to skip the complimentary yoga sessions every morning before breakfast.

an incredible location at the heart of Ubud jungle area. the yoga studio is absolutely stunning with daily yoga sessions. beautiful food. there is also an amazing menu of wellness and healing treatments.

GermanyThey label themselves a plant-based resort. Please note that they are not vegan, which I don’t mind but a lot of vegan people are going to seek out this place for being plant-based. Unfortunately I consumed drinks with honey that were not pointed out to me containing animal products. I would appreciate it if there would be a way to avoid that. Also I felt rather uncomfortable with the pond inside the dining area. It is very small for the fish inside…
The resort is nothing short of extraordinary. Excellent service, very friendly staff. A lot of nice touches like welcome fruits and a diary to write in. The facilities are superb, we had the most wonderful time just hanging by the pool. We used the shuttle service to Ubud regularly and participated in one of the offered activities as well. I was impressed by that extent of hospitality and service provided. I want to especially thank and compliment all of the wonderful staff that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay at fiveelememts again and recommend it to everyone considering a stay there.

CanadaThere was piped in music in the dining room and at the pool all of the time; at the pool some peace would have been preferred to hear the sounds of the river and nature only. Not to mention, it was the same playlist on repeat (about 12 songs) over and over. I would have liked if there were better shuttle times to go into Ubud.
The property is beautiful, set along the Ayung River. The gardens are lush and stunning. Our room was so nice and the outdoor bathroom & shower incredible!

GermanyThe vegan food was awesome and delicious but we did miss not having eggs or yogurts :-) The staff asking us about a bathrobe ( very basic cotton ) that I put for cleaning ( it was a bit shabby) hoping for a clean one but instead I was asked if I took it in my suitcase! Who would even want to? I should have complained to housekeeping instead of being relaxed. Really silly.

New ZealandI didn't like that there are fish in the pools, seems very unnatural. Also, my friend got a skin infection for sitting on the edge of the pool. Maybe they are not cleaned very often.
The food is all plant based and really good quality. The facilities are beautiful and the staff is amazing! So nice and helpful.
