The dogs are scary and bark alot when they see your one tried to bite my boyfriend.... Ao, i was scared everyday we we had to go outside. Because of the heavy rainfall the whole place was filled with water except the hotel room ofc. because they were placed higher up. But make sure to wear slippers and short pants.

Some rooms are newer than others so our bathroom wasn’t very nice or clean and had dead cockroaches in it. Bed could’ve been a bit more comfortable too.

Great location and staff were lovely. You get what you pay for. We also enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

Rooms facility below average. No plugpots. The light and fan switches were hiden and have to searh for it. The oor did not have proper lock.

The staff were very polite and helpful. the hotel atmosphere was serene and green.

Eating and kitchen area could use a tidy up and renovation. There is no sign so you have to go searching for it. It opposite the atman cafe then walk about 25 meters. The reception is not attended so I was calling for so Done for 20 mins. Maybe put a bell there

Location Great and very quiet. Large bed with good air conditioning and very large spacious room. I was downstairs so great large outdoor table to spread out on and do work was useful. Lovely sounds of birds chirping in the background!

THE ROOSTERS!! Several sleepless nights because they were so loud. The rooms have no sound insulation and small gaps between doors even when shut and locked. Hotel dogs were quite unfriendly and didn’t like strangers. Rooms were a bit rundown and beds quite uncomfortable. There were some small windows with no curtain and bright lights outside all night so room wasn’t dark to go to sleep.

Staff were the sweetest people we’ve met so far in Bali - always laughing and singing and they were so kind and helpful. Great location for central Ubud - off the main road so you’re a little bit away from the busyness but still walking distance from everything.

There is a sign for the accommodation on the main road but it was difficult to know I was in the right place when I first arrived as it is inside a family compound and I was worried I was intruding a private home - might be worth having an additional sign. My room was large but very basic - there was no security box or hangers in the wardrobe which would have been useful. There was a mirror above the sink in the bathroom which was difficult to see with as it was high up for me. It would be nice to have a full length mirror in the bedroom.

I had a very pleasant stay for 6 nights.  Great location in walking distance to lots of shops, places to eat and all the sites. It is a quiet haven despite being on a busy main road. The breakfast each morning was tasty and filling. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and approachable. The pool is a plus but I didn't use it.

It's difficult to compare an extended family homestay with many people working and living there to other places / standards. There is a living history ongoing and you need to give them wide latitude. Staff spoke little to no english but -- I'm not going to be critical out of respect.

It's living within a family compound of reasonable size .2ha. Lots of story. The staff responded well to some basic requests . Run simular to a backpackers with about 10 rooms, although guests were mainly couples 30-50. It's a genuine Bali homestay experience.

Paid for an upgrade to superior room. There were no toiletries no tea or coffee facilities there were geckos and bugs in the bathroom, the shower wouldn't work, there was an awful lot of noise, between upstairs room sounding like furniture removal staff were a little noisy outside the room and caged birds in filthy cages.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Due to the humidity nothing dries very well so the rooms, especially the bathrooms can smell musty. Bring earplugs unless you love cockerels at 0430 hrs.

Spacious rooms, comfy beds, lovely staff and a nice pool. Accommodation was tucked away behind houses so there was no traffic noise .
