Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaA busy road and a 20 minute walk into the town centre. There was not sufficient lighting on the stairs to go to the upstairs rooms at night. I was disappointed that I could not access yoga lessons - they are just for those on a wellness retreat. That was my fault for not asking earlier.
It was a standard hotel configuration and not Balinese flavour, but set with a nice pool and lush vegetation backing. Very clean and tidy. It offered Ayurvedic massage and other treatments. I had a lovely massage for 1.5 hours. The food was beautiful and the restaurant a lovely setting.

Lithuania-Only Indian vegetarian food is serviced at the property: with that said, food flavors and quality are great, but it’s not for everyone’s taste to have just Indian food every day -Pillows were too high and too hard for us, making the sleep somewhat uncomfortable
-New, modern, stylish, artsy property -Surrounded by palm trees and jungle view -Very friendly and kind staff -Quiet and peaceful, away from busy town center -Spacious and colorful room and shower -Very fancy toiletries provided in shower, they smell and feel so good -Dinner at onsite restaurant is very good quality

EstoniaBreakfast was poor. Vegetarian is ok, but there are veey few options. Same food every day. Bit far away from centre and other restaurants, not exactly a thing to dislike, but just something to consider.
Beautiful hotel with nice details in the middle of the jungle. Very quiet and relaxing. Nice pool. Spacious and comfortable room, beautiful bathroom and shower. Nice and hot water.

United KingdomOnly small things but it would be better if they had WhatsApp for guest communication like other hotels so you can communicate with reception even if you are not in the room so can’t use the room phone. It would be good if they labelled the menu with which options are vegan and they had alternatives to cows milk available like soy or oat. I’m not strictly vegan but try to limit my diary, I decided not to bother here as wanted to just try everything… but for any vegans visiting it’s nice to see the options on the menu at a glance. I’m sure the chef would have happily advised though had I asked as they weee very accommodating. Also a full length mirror in the room would be nice. Only small things, overall my stay was magical!!
This hotel is an absolute delight!! I LOVED my time here and felt totally pampered and transported into luxurious Indian living with a sense of calm and wellness. First of all the FOOD - wow!! I am vegetarian and I adore Indian food, so the restaurant here was like culinary paradise. I tried each of the breakfast options and the mixed thalis in an evening and every one of them was 👌…. Tasty, varied, balanced, healthy and delicious. I will miss this food when I am back home! Next, the hotel aesthetics…. OMG, there are jewels, water features and gorgeous art everywhere. The decor has been picked with careful consideration by the owner who has an eye for Indian design, and the vibrant colours make it feel so special- an Indian inspired retreat in the heart of Bali. The rooms are good size, comfortable bed, good aircon, nice bathroom, pool view from all rooms, clean bathroom, good shower pressure, free water and paid mini bar in the room. The only thing that was missing from the room was a full length mirror. The staff were helpful and attentive, especially the chef and reception lady. Now the practical stuff:- The WIFI worked perfectly all throughout the property and was an average of 70mbps upload and download. The cleaning happened as if by magic twice per day- when I was having breakfast and later turn down service. Finally the SPA …. I highly recommend. I had a wonderful Ayurvedic health consultation and massage treatment. Blissful I hope to stay again in the future.

SpainDelicious Ayurvedic food, a gorgeous view of nature, and a relaxing pool. I loved staying here so much that I extended my stay by many more days. It's a quick scooter ride into the Ubud center while providing a beautiful, quiet oasis away from the hectic city center. The staff made me feel like home, and the place has such amazing energy. It's a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate, and explore Bali. The artwork is incredible and I have found much inspiration from staying here.

GermanyIt might be nice to get shade structures around the pool and additional towel hangers in the outside shower.
The property fulfilled our key aspects: being an off site location and a brand new hotel. Hence, this comes with aspects to consider (brisk walking 30 min to city ctr or taking transport), minor improvements (we had our door fixed to the bath room which was carried out with great effort and immediately). The team is really friendly, the location is tranquil with a lovely pool. All rooms have India-inspired varying decor. Our ground floor room had an outdoor shower and the breakfast is Ayurvedic a la carte.

SingaporeIt is a newly done place, with very beautiful interiors. The owners are very welcoming and they individually attend to each of the guests, which in a way is very unique as compared to others. They are very welcoming alongwith the chef, who takes a very good care of the dietary requirements. The vegetarian preparations are very delicious alongwith the beautiful surroundings. The hidden gem is their Ayurveda retreat, which is an icing on the cake. It is probably one of the best in Bali on a whole. At the end, must check out their infinity pool..!!

AustraliaVery minor as a leisure guest I like to walk everywhere, the walk to town was ok in daylight but not when it was dark.
The property is one month old, and truly is spectacular. I was met by the owner on my arrival and made feel like a VIP. The beautiful art work throughout the property is uplifting and unique. The food is awesome vegetarian Indian which I loved. I did meet the Aryuveda Dr who recommended a diet and a spa treatment which included hot oil dripping on my head, heaven! Eventually it will operate as an Aryuveda retreat, I feel grateful to have experienced it as a leisure guest. Very clean and safe.

PhilippinesStaying at Rudra Sahashrara was an experience that transcended mere relaxation - it was a journey into a world of holistic wellness and cultural beauty. The authentic Ayurvedic cuisine served here was nothing short of amazing. Ive never seen it in Bali. The comfortable beds provided the perfect sanctuary for restful nights, complementing the healing atmosphere of the center. But what truly sets Rudra Sahashrara apart is their art and aesthetic. Every corner of the place is imbued with a magical quality, as if you're being transported to a different world!! The attention to detail in the design and décor is remarkable, creating an ambiance that is both luxurious and spiritually uplifting. I will be back!

IndonesiaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Ayurvedic resort, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of my stay. The resort's location was perfect - nestled in the midst of lush greenery and with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It truly felt like a haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The architecture and design of the resort blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and calming ambiance. The accommodations were impeccable, with spacious and tastefully decorated rooms that exuded comfort and luxury. Every detail seemed to have been thoughtfully considered, from the quality of the linens to the carefully curated decor. It was evident that the resort was committed to providing a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience for its guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs offered at the resort. The experienced practitioners and therapists were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every treatment was tailored to my specific needs. Their expertise, combined with the use of high-quality oils and traditional techniques, left me feeling refreshed, energized, and balanced. The resort's commitment to Ayurveda was evident in every aspect of my stay, from the delicious and nourishing meals served at the on-site restaurant to the daily yoga and meditation sessions offered. I appreciated the emphasis on holistic well-being and the opportunity to explore and embrace the principles of Ayurveda in a supportive and immersive environment. In addition to the wellness offerings, the resort also provided a range of recreational activities and excursions, allowing guests to further connect with nature and the local culture.

AustraliaWhat an amazing property this was, situated right on a nice wide valley, with a beautiful infinity pool over looking it. Just a few minutes from the heart of Ubud. It truly gives you the best of both worlds. It is nice and quiet, it feels like you are away from the hustle and bustle, but really you are only a few minutes away from it. It has an absolutely amazing vegetarian Indian restaurant on site, literally the best Indian food I have ever eaten. There is beautiful unique art in each and every room of the retreat, the time these guys have put in is astonishing. Heart and soul has gone in to every little detail.

United StatesThe resort is brand new resort. Despite some initial opening challenges, they're attentive and responsive. When I raised an issue, they addressed it immediately and to my complete satisfaction, showing their commitment to excellent service.
My recent stay at Rudra Sahashrara in Ubud, Bali, was an extraordinary experience, further enriched by meeting the owners, who are the embodiment of passion and hospitality. Their dedication to Ayurvedic principles and creating a serene environment for their guests shines through every aspect of the resort. The resort's rooms, adorned with invigorating murals, offer a harmonious blend of comfort and tranquility, making each morning a refreshing start to the day. The pool area, a serene oasis, was my go-to spot for relaxation and reflection. As part of a group holding a yoga retreat, I found Rudra Sahashrara to be the perfect setting. The peaceful ambiance and the resort's connection to nature and wellness significantly enhanced our yoga sessions, making them deeply rejuvenating. The culinary experience was a highlight, with a fantastic array of Ayurvedic food choices. Each meal was not only healthy but also a delight to the senses, adding to the overall wellness experience. The resort's staff, comprised of friendly Balinese locals, were exceptional in their service. Their warmth and attentiveness made our group feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout our stay. Situated conveniently close to Ubud, the resort offers easy access to the local culture and attractions, providing ample opportunities to explore and engage with the vibrant surroundings. Meeting the passionate owners and being part of a yoga retreat at Rudra Sahashrara made my experience incredibly special. This resort is more than just a destination; it's a journey into wellness and tranquility, rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and the enchanting beauty of Bali. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a transformative retreat experience.
