They need to do a lot of maintenance- toilet/bathroom design not the safest. Broken door handles just more things to make stay more comfortable Purchase new sheets as ours very badly stained & looked dirty. Generally I really nice Bali feel but facilities need maintenance for sure. Staff and grounds fantastic.

This is an amazing inn right in Central Ubud near shops, restaurants and spas on jl. Monkey Forest. A neat tranquil garden. Truly nostalgic for us as we miss staying in a Balinese architecture accommodation, it feels like some 25 years ago. The complex, despite being in the busy section of Ubud, is pretty quiet, we didn't hear a great deal of traffic even from the porch of our little bungalow. The monkeys are funny and mischievous, which create havoc in some mornings during our stay there. Good size pool as well. Highly recommend this place. Staff are attentive and polite.

The WiFi doesn't work at all. The bathtub could be cleaner, and there was a water logging problem in the wash basin

The location was the Best. 8 mins walk from the Ubud Palace and the monkey forest. The whole place is a Heritage home. The aesthetic of this place is magical. The cottages and rooms are very bali traditional styled cottages.The pool was great. The rooms were clean and very helpful staff.

Quite an old property.. It has bare minimum facilities required for a person to stay on budget. No water bottles provided in the room, no electric kettle, metal safe box or TV in the rooms. Breakfast with limited options.

Rooms were spacious and surroundings are decent. In the heart of Ubud and nearby to lot of restaurants with variety of cuisines and places to shop around. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Water pressure is really poor, impossible to wash your hair in this. Air-con did not work fully, it wasn't possible to control the temperature, it was simply just on too cold or completely turned off. Off was not an option as that just made all the mosquitoes come. I booked 2 nights and was told upon check-in that I would have to move room after one night, this was frustrating but the staff was kind and offered to move my bags for me if I wouldn't be at the hotel at the time of room change. In exchange I got upgraded to a pool-level room the second night which was bigger but I preferred the top level room as that was cleaner. The pool level room has dirt coming from the ceilings falling on the bed.

Location is great, nice pool and grounds, super pretty. Even though there were negatives, I still think that the price made up for it, I'm not paying for a 5 star hotel and the facilities reflect that in a fair way.

The mattress was uncomfortable (I don’t usually hv trouble sleeping) and there’s only a thin sheet to cover, no blanket or quilt. I can’t sleep not being used to a thin sheet. The floor was dusty in all corners. The hot water was inconsistent. I ended up lack of sleep. The fridge freezer was warm one min, cold the next. Inconsistent and ruined my coffee.

The environment and the balcony was so serene, beautiful plants and garden, solid wooden furnitures. Beautiful view from balcony! The boys helped me with my luggage upstairs. Great dressing mirror.

No car park near by. AC, TV, Hot water, did not work at first, but staff are friendly and we sorted out most of the issues. Was not super clean, no bed protector, room decoration was very simple.

Rooms are large size, bathtub was nice, private terrace, garden, walkways and pool was well maintained.

Great location in the center. We travelled with 2 kids and it was easy to walk to the monkey forest and Ubud palace. Eventhough the entrance is from the maon street, the hotel is really quiet and peaceful. Room for 4 was quite big

Location was good... very close to the main markets of ubud... all the necessary items like bike rentals, liquor shops, restaurants and grocery items available within 2 mins from the property. Beautiful pool.. and very peaceful inside the property..

Monkeys. When I booked I requested a large bed & I was given a room with two small beds. Finally I was given what I requested. On 7 August I messaged the property asking if breakfast was included & I received a reply only today, one day after I had already checked out.
