We ordered food from the rooftop bar by the pool and the service charge/tax that was added on was a bit of a shock. Maybe it can be included in the price of the food so people know the total price before ordering. Room was super clean but the shower was blocked and kept flooding; cleaners just need to remember to remove hair from the drains every so often to stop it building up. My friend removed it :) :)

Room was lovely and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Roof top pool was an added bonus, nice to relax up there. Welcome drink was simple but free.

It is impossible to give a second key to the room, not very convenient if you return to the room separately or if one of you needs to go down. Without a key you will not be able to get into the elevator, and the lights in the room will be off.

Comfortable room for a family, quite spacious. Close to the city center and large shopping malls.

Access to alternative nearby cafes and restaurants was limited and you needed a Grab to get there, since the roads were not safe for pedestrians.

The rooftop pool was special, with a view across all the city. The restaurant was also on the same level and allowed for dinner and drinks with the same spectacular view, especially at night. The family room was large, with plenty of space for 1 x king and 1 x double bed, plus a desk and space AND lounge seating area.

This was another hotel where the safe in the room wasn't working, which seems a common theme to Javanese hotels! A mild irritation but as access to the floors where guests stay is restricted it's not too much of a worry.

The hotel's in a great location for the old part of Surabaya. Our room was large, with good facilities, spotlessly clean and with a really comfy bed. It was also quiet. The rooftop bar and swimming pool are a real bonus. There was live music in the bar the night were were there and the young couple playing were really rather good. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as we were only staying one night but it looked very clean and inviting. The views from the roof are great. All in all we were pleasantly surprised by our stay and would come back.

location is on a busy street, not so bad for noise, but not that easy to walk to cafes, so have to always take a grab making it harder to explore or see the city pool is small, but still fine to cool off

room was comfy and spacious, bathroom was usefully designed and clean there is a water cooler in the cafe, but they provide bottles as well

The hotel is rough around the edges and needs an update: there are numerous marks and chips on the walls, and towels that used to be white are now grey, etc. It was also frustrating to see free amenities on offer such as toothbrushes, and yet something basic like hand soap was not provided.

The staff were very friendly, my bed was very comfortable and my stay was good value for money. I also enjoyed the breakfast and loved the view from my room.

The opening hours of the pool were rather limited and it offered no shade, staff at the rooftop restaurant gave the impression they're doing us a favor serving us. Coffee and tea at breakfast tasted burnt and were undrinkable, fruit replenished with small amounts and slowly. Late check out was possible only with payment.

The room was very clean and breakfast was mostly good. The rooftop pool was nice and the view fantastic.

It could have been cleaner, our room had hair and crumbs from last guest. And even on the daily cleans these crumbs/hairs remained. It’s not awful because we are backpackers but it can be an issue/attract ants. The WiFi was okay, seemed abit spotty at times

The location was decent, a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. The lobby was nice and pool looked nice but didn’t have enough time to use. The room was very large with 2 different window views which is cool. Daily room cleans with waters. Even had a free razor to use which was very handy! The views was nice too!

A little removed from things if wanting to walk

The rooftop restaurant and pool. Meals were good in both the restaurant and morning buffet. Staff, true to Indonesia form were very friendly and helpful
